RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review construction contractual documents for submissions and approvals.
• Prepare construction plans with delivery and installation schedule based on master program requirements.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors eg. consultants and sub-contractors / suppliers for the flawless execution of the projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and high quality.
• Lead the project team to implement and execute works in accordance with approved drawings, contract specification and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with project team, site staff and sub-contractors to conduct site meeting and inspections for project progress and monitoring of quality.
• Monitor equipment usage and allocation.
• Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage rectification and touch up works during Conquas/ QM and field test.
• Manage changes to projects scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
• Responsible for the overall project management, planning & control, and execution,including project budget evaluation and profitability.
• Administer all site works, including cash flow planning, costing, contract administration,management of delivery and progress of project to ensure quality of work and safety regulations are complied with.
• Preparation of tender documents, including drafting of contracts, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders, and awarding construction and procurement contracts.
• Maintain client's satisfaction with project performance and follow up on new business opportunities with the client.
• Other adhoc duties by management assigned from time to time.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess relevant Diploma or Degree qualification in Interior Design or Architecture equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in project management
• Certificate in construction safety course for project manager
• Aptitude in problem solving, dispute resolution and emergency response management
• Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects, administrative works, competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, proactive and result-oriented
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
