Sales Manager Requirements and skills

We are looking for a Manager, Graduate to join our Academic team, to oversee and manage the operations of the graduate programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of high-quality services and operational efficiency across all graduate programmes
• Oversee the planning, execution and management of administrative and logistic operations for experiential learning courses conducted overseas in a timely and cost-effective manner (if any).
• Oversee the annual budget submissions and ensure effective tracking and monitoring of the allocated budgets for all graduate programmes.
• Work closely with the Assistant Chair/Associate Chair and Assistant Director to develop, implement and review administrative and student support systems, increase the quality of the programmes and student satisfaction.
• Ensure that staff (if any) within the graduate team are familiar with NTU policies on academic and student matters and ensure consistency in administering such processes across all the graduate programmes.
• Oversee teaching assignment submission, management of timetabling, and exam matters for all graduate programmes.
• Coordinate and collate data or reports on graduate programmes as required for school, College or NTU departments.
• Maintain rapport with both internal (i.e., Programme Directors, faculty and part-timers teaching in the programme, Office of Admissions, Office of Academic Services, Office of Finance, Graduate College etc) and external stakeholders (e.g. students, alumni, external organisations, vendors).
• Serve as the key point of contact for postgraduate coursework students, providing essential support and guidance on all programme-related matters
• Ensure efficient administration of Student Recruitment, Student Admission/matriculation procedures, and the GE teaching schedule while assisting faculty and students in completing the diverse academic-related processes in compliance with the NTU policies and guidelines.
• Provide support and liaise with faculty/other schools/external professors on programme mentorship/in supervisory role for MA and PhD thesis processing, evaluation, and submission processes.
• Provide administrative support for engaging part-time teaching staff.
• Manage facilities booking for teaching purposes

• Assist Sr. Design manager, supervise architectural works and ensure all works are carried out in compliance with standards, safety & environment regulations
• Manage the drawing submission schedules based on the planned work progress
• Coordinate and review all design matters with LTA, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, etc.
• Manage and control design deliverables related to BIM, technical, contractual and cost issues
• Manage subcontractors, review shop drawings to check to meet all design requirments
• Plan and Manage C&S work progress scheduling, etc.

• Minimum 7 years of experience with Degree/Diploma in relevant civil & structural field in the construction supervision of architectural works for projects

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have an electrical vocational or engineering, or a marine engineering background.
• Possess experience and competencies within the following electrical/electromechanical fields: Low voltage and building utilities, high voltage (AC and DC) equipment and protection systems, electromechanical and automated safety systems, SCADA and communication systems.
• Are experienced with onshore and/or offshore substation outfitting, electrical installation, test, and commissioning.

The Senior Manager, Head of Pre- Sales engineering: Global Centre of Excellence (GCoE), APAC will assist in driving the overall adoption of engineering standards and growth of our Centers of Excellence across our APAC organization. They will do this by creating partnerships, interfacing with our innovation and product development teams to help streamline processes and establish standard and simple flows between our sales teams and the CoE Network.

Driving Adoption and Growth

• Establish ties to all APAC sub-regions across JCI’s product and offering, to support solutions and pre sales engineering to the respective sales teams and win with our customers.
