Job Summary
As the Operations & Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of Farmio’s supply chain and warehouse management. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Farmio’s fresh produce supply chain runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with the company’s mission. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
• Inventory Control• : Manage inventory levels to ensure the accurate and timely availability of fresh produce for customers. Oversee stock levels and ensure that inventory data is updated and tracked properly using Farmio’s technology solutions.
• Order Fulfillment• : Lead the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. Manage workflows to reduce errors and meet performance targets.
• Warehouse Efficiency• : Continuously monitor and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. Implement best practices to optimize space, time, and resource utilization within the warehouse.
• Quality Control• : Oversee the quality of goods entering and leaving the warehouse, ensuring that fresh produce meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Safety & Compliance• : Ensure the warehouse complies with all health and safety regulations. Implement safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and maintain a safe working environment for the warehouse team.
Operations Management
• Logistics Coordination• : Oversee the transportation and logistics network, ensuring on-time and efficient delivery of fresh produce from suppliers to retailers. Coordinate with transportation partners to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
• Supply Chain Optimization• : Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth, cost-effective supply chain operations. Identify bottlenecks and work to eliminate inefficiencies in the distribution process.
• Vendor & Supplier Management• : Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve issues related to orders, and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
• Technology & Automation• : Leverage Farmio’s technology tools to automate and streamline warehouse and supply chain processes. Identify opportunities to implement new tools that enhance operational efficiency.
Team Management
• Leadership & Supervision• : Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff and logistics teams to perform at their best. Create a positive, productive work environment that fosters teamwork and accountability.
• Staff Scheduling & Planning• : Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements. Manage shift schedules, team assignments, and workload distribution.
• Performance Management• : Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and job satisfaction. Conduct performance evaluations and provide opportunities for training and development.
Financial Management
• Cost Control• : Work within the budget to manage warehouse and operational costs. Identify areas where expenses can be reduced without compromising service quality.
• Operational Reporting• : Prepare and present regular reports on key warehouse and operations metrics, including inventory levels, order accuracy, delivery times, and costs.
• Budgeting & Forecasting• : Collaborate with the finance team to create and manage the operations and warehouse budget. Provide input on forecasting supply chain needs based on seasonal demand and business growth.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in managing warehouse teams and improving operational efficiency.
• Experience in the food distribution or fresh produce industry is a plus.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain best practices.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
