We are working with a leading player in the commodities industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to our global clientele. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Trade Operator to join their team and contribute to their success.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Operations Specialist to oversee the operational aspects of our agriculture commodities trading activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of trades, managing logistics, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor trading activities in agriculture commodities, including but not limited to grains, oilseeds, and other agricultural products.
- Manage trade documentation, including contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as trading, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate execution of trades.
- Liaise with external parties, including suppliers, customers, and shipping agents, to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide support to the trading team in analyzing market data and evaluating trading strategies.
- Handle any trade-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade operations, preferably in the agriculture commodities industry.
- Strong understanding of trading processes and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and trade management software.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms is preferred.
