ALG is currently recruiting Operators. This position is an entry-level, long-term contract role with an option to convert to permanent after 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

Operators can be assigned to one of the three areas at any one point in time:

Repair Area:

• To put up parts to create space for incoming parts
• To use push and pull theory for parts as to meet Component
• Repair TRT
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Component/Machines:

• Set-up machines and ensure that it is in working order
• Monitor machine during every procedure and ensure optimum operation
• Ensure that regular and preventive maintenance are carried out
• Maintain and clean machines before and at the end of each shift
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Warehousing operations:

• Receive incoming and consolidate for outgoing components
• Sort paperwork for work pack closure and administration paperwork
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year working experience, preferably in an aerospace environment
• Able to read and communicate in simple English
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Able to operate electric and non-electric pallet jack is a plus

Job Description & Requirements

The Operator must be able to solder under microscope and also on hotplate for long hours.

The workplace is a cleanroom environment, and the Operator is expected to wear anti-static smock clean room suit, mask and gloves.

The working hours are as follows:

Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm

Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Meal Breaks: 1 hour

Education level: N level and understand English.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team in BOM purchase

Responisbilites:

• Provide sterile surgical instrument sets and other medical equipment following established policy and procedure.
• Involved in Decontamination, Inspection, Preparation, Packaging, Sterilization, Storage and distribution of sterile medical devices to Operating Theatres, Wards, Centres and Clinics.
• Involved in projects work-process improvements.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment and fills cart requisitions using IT system.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of simple diagnostics and therapeutic biomedical equipment.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or related fields/ Minimum National ITE Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related fields
• 3 years working experience as Sterile Supplies Technician or sterile processing unit will be preferred
• Able to work 3 rotational shifts(8am-4.35pm; 1pm-9.35pm; 9pm-7.30am), including weekends & public holidays.

• Picking and packing

• Loading and unloading

• Compliance with health and safety regulations

• Conduct inventory cycle count

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to support day-to-day operations

• Communicate and make arrangement with Sub-contractor on daily basis

• Adhere to warehouse safety and security measures at all times

• Any other task as assigned by management
