Main Responsibilities

• Supervise daily desk operations, ensuring efficient coordination and flawless execution.
• Manage all operational aspects of physical trading books, guaranteeing trades are executed accurately and cost-effectively while adhering to contractual obligations.
• Identify, evaluate, and address operational and business risks, proactively preventing potential challenges to the Company/Group’s success or growth, and escalating critical matters as necessary.
• Provide regular updates on operational processes to the Regional Head of Operations as part of the role’s core functions.
• Enhance trader strategies by utilizing expertise in product movement and leveraging external relationships, addressing delivery and supply concerns effectively, and resolving transportation issues promptly.
• Validate product movement reconciliations and develop proficiency in conducting Loss Control investigations.
• Cultivate the ability to evaluate risks (technical, contractual, and operational) linked to non-standard contracts, emerging markets, and long-term tenders.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader as needed.

Profile

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in vessel and cargo operations (preferably in the Petrochemical sector), including engagement with ports/terminals, agents, cargo inspectors, vetting processes, chartering, and ship shore compatibility.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with stakeholders.
• A strong drive and enthusiasm for learning and acquiring new skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong time management abilities, and adaptability to dynamic and evolving situations.

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Perform shift duty to support 24x7 DC Operations stand-by duties for emergency.
• Assist to oversee the IT equipment hardware inventory on individual rack inside the DC
• On-site Management of works conducted within the Data Centre such as site preparation, site survey, network cabling, electrical wiring, air-conditioning, building power supply (including power generator) tests, infrastructure & System maintenance, on-site/off-site standby activities etc
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for Data Centre downstream infrastructure which includes Uninterruptible Power Suppler (UPS) systems, Water Detection systems, Fire Suppression systems, PDU, CCTV systems, Card Access systems etc.
• Operate Electronic Visitation Management System (Update Authorizer and customer access request accurately and promptly).
• Remote Hand Support (Media Management, Visual Inspection, Reboot devices, staging room, Physical connect/disconnect of HDD, network cable connectivity test, insertion of fibre SFP).
• Handle input and output media with due care for integrity of data and utility of media for subsequent use, including off-site storage.
• Perform Event Monitoring for Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure they are functioning optimally (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.)
• Perform event monitoring for IT Systems and Network infrastructure.
• Perform incident escalation. Ensure incidents are responded and attended to. To redirect for 2nd or 3rd Level resolution base on criticality, impact and customer Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Manage and mitigate escalations of high impact system failures and assist in tracking the incidents till closure.

Role Profile: Backend Office System Operator

The purpose of the role is to verify and consolidate parking infringements from CCTV footage for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan, note down and verify any parking infringements from the CCTV monitors

• Validate all incoming traffic infringements and submit to BOS Team Lead.

• Attend to enquiries regarding verification of traffic infringements and other related services

• Report faulty cameras or breakdowns

• Coordinate with Technical Support team on camera repairs and adjustments

• Resolve all in scope enquiries and take appropriate escalation actions when required

• Other duties as assigned

• Part Time Basis available - Only weekends

Competence (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Knowledge of illegal parking violation rules

• Basic computer skills

Requirements:

• Able to converse well with customers on enquiries

• To be colour-blind free

• 2-years renewable contract

Education & Experience:

· Minimum ‘O’ Level or equivalent

· Preferably with experience working with CCTV systems
