Your team :

You’ll be working in the WMPC Application Support team in Singapore. We provide platform services for internal key banking applications on latest technology stacks. As a Site Reliability Engineer you’ll play an important role in ensuring a smooth software integration and fast incident resolution in a highly automated environment and especially in the area of Apigee API management.
Our team provides application & infrastructure related technical support to ensure end-to-end production stability and availability with an unwavering focus and aim to serve client needs. Aligned to the UBS WMPC business and IT application service line, we ensure that our approach is oriented to uphold the trust and manage the relationship between IT and our financial advisers and their clients.

Your expertise :

• 5-10 years of Level2 production support experience in a global environment
• knowledge on Google Api Management and hands-on experience and good knowledge of Apache/Tomcat/WebSphere, Linux, Cloud (Azure) and automation/application monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk/Selenium and Jenkins
• highly committed, resilient and have a strong focus on accountability with a commitment to resolving issues, managing stakeholder communication, and following the appropriate escalation matrix.
• strong analytical, problem solving and synthesizing skills
• able to drive service improvements (set up telemetry for early detection of incidents, fast recovery and automation of repetitive/manual tasks)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects (e.g., SharePoint, eGIRO) ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and project specifications.

Liaise with project vendors to coordinate and oversee project delivery.

Lead the development of new software applications (e.g., Banking software) and systems, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Ensure quality and functionality of the software and systems meet the organizational

Analyze the work plan for the department, identifying key areas for improvement and optimization.

Write detailed reports on project progress, department performance, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Have some experience in IT project management and software development.(preferred)

Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion.

Experience in developing and deploying software applications, particularly in the banking or financial services sector.

Experience with database management systems.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in writing detailed reports and performance metrics.
