Stakeholder management

At regional level:

· Acts as primary interface with business lines (Business COOs, Conduct & Control Officers, Front-Office Conduct & Surveillance) as well as Compliance to:

Technical Skills

· Understanding of core banking businesses (Global Markets, Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking, Wealth Management) and interactions between front-officers (Sales, Relationship Managers, etc.) and their clients and other counterparties

· Familiar with the technical set-up, usage, recording and surveillance of voice and chat communication channels which are most popular in APAC and globally. Knowledge of end-to-end technical flows into archiving and surveillance back-end systems

· Very comfortable with the use of Office tools to draft process and SOP documents, analyse data and track metrics, and present clear and concise updates and executive messages to senior management

· Fluency in Mandarin is a plus as need to communicate with China Region/Counterpart.

Portfolio Management: The Investment Analyst is expected to support Investment Principals with the management, maintenance, and monitoring of client investment portfolios. This entails reviewing clients’ balance sheets, preparing investment and portfolio analyses, brainstorming recommendations relating to client portfolio asset allocation, portfolio performance and currency exposure reviews, and preparing presentation materials for client meetings. Investment Analysis: The Investment Analyst will be assisting senior investment research members with the identification of promising investment theses and conducting due diligence on asset managers.
