The Services required are set out as follows:

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

ICT Support

• • Help the Authority’s ICT department in handling day-to-day ICT services as stipulated by the Authority.

• • Manage Authority’s ICT Project implementation, vendors’ management and contracts management for school initiated projects.

• • Assist HOD (ICT) in ensuring MOE policies, guidelines and standards are adhered.

• • Administering / updating / designing of School website (WordPress/Swiiit)

• • Assist in the preliminary checks and documentations required for the evaluation of products as well as requesting for quotations.

• • Work with the HOD (ICT) on gathering the ICT needs of the Authority.

• • Propose solutions that meet the requirements of the Authority including technical specification and market pricing of these solutions.

• • Assist HOD (ICT) in coordinating the Authority’s ICT Asset Management and loan of equipment.

• • Preparation of ITQ specifications and necessary documentation.

• • Assist HOD (ICT) in managing Authority’s ICT Support Staff

• • Prepare relevant ICT documentations and guidelines.

• • Assist teachers (If DE is not available) for technical problems such as troubleshooting PC, Printer, LAN connection problems.

• • Proficient with different O/S computing platforms.

• • Ability to infuse Digital Literacy in the design of the Teaching & Learning Curriculumn.

ICT Training

• • Conduct Just-In-Time (JIT) ICT Training / Workshop for staff, as required with the Authority’s needs.

• • Conduct ICT Training / Workshop for students, as required with the Authority’s needs.

• • Conceptualise and prepare training materials (of relevance to the Training / Workshop) for staff.

• • Create multimedia content/ modules for ICT lessons based on HOD (ICT) instructions.

• • Organize multimedia contents for ICT lessons based on MOE ICT Standards

• • Assist the HOD (ICT) in sourcing and liasing with ICT vendors/contractors for ICT Equipment and Services based on the Authority’s requirements, relative to ICT support and training.

• • Organize and conduct ICT Training / Awareness and Usage Briefings for school staff on ICT implementations.

• • Scan and implement new technology tools that support teaching and learning.

Other Duties

• • Take photos and videos during important school activities / functions. Preferably proficient with Full frame DSLR Camera.

• • Able to film and create videos for school events

• • Able to do video live-stream for major school events

• • Perform any other duties assigned by P / VP / HOD (ICT).

The Personnel shall minimally have or be able to demonstrate in-depth qualifications, skills and experience:

• • At least 3 years’ experience as ICT Executive in a school environment.

• • In implementing ICT Projects (Eg. developing learning trails with the teachers), preferably in a school environment.

• • As a Web Master. Experienced in editing images, articles and updating School Website using WordPress or equivalent CMS (Content Management Service).

• • In developing training materials and conducting ICT / Lesson Training.

• • Has prior experience in doing ICT/AV Asset Inventory, Seat refresh and any other administrative work related to ICT Department

• • Prior experience in conducting briefings / trainings to in-house staff for related implementation.

• • Good IT & Technical knowledge. Relevant background in IT field would be preferred.

• • Be proficient in video editing software for iOS and/or Mac environment.

• • Able to multi-task and work independently.

• • Good planning, analytical and negotiation skills.

• • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• • Preferably able to be a team player (referenced by staff members of school – previous and/or existing).

• • Able to physically move IT equipment and logistics and set-up at required locations.

Job Description

Students All Rise Programme (StAR)

a) To work together with the teacher-in-charge for the activites

conducted for the students.

b) To design activities for the students, to build on their

strengths, passion and teamwork.

c) To prepare students for any showcase at the end of the

programme conducted.

d) To mark attendance and manage students during the StAR

Programme.

e) To support school for any student-based activities such as

chaperone students for learning journeys, etc

After-school Engagement Programmes

a) Support high needs students by engaging them

meaningfully after schools hours through organising and

overseeing sports and team building activities.

b) To manage student recreation room (Hangoutz).

c) To mark attendance for after-school engagement

programme.

d) To chaperone after-school engagement students for

learning journeys and service learning

Requirements
