• Min 4 years of hands-on experience on troubleshooting the applications
• Have experience of at least 2 years on Cobol, CICS application support
• At least 2 years of working experience in production support in banking applications running on Windows and Unix environments is preferred
• Mmonitoring production system, health check and job scheduling to ensure SLA is meet.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem.
• Continuous improvement of the system, e.g. job automation, performance tuning and should be able to identify and fix the bugs.
• Preferably have experience in VPC
• Support infra upgrades and address SW/HW vulnerabilities\
• Perform code packaging end to end until release to Production, the maintaining application is done by the Production team
• Should have strong hold on SQL server/Oracle databases and able to write/debug the SQL programs.
• Good knowledge in Linux/Unix/Windows environment and scripting.
• Should be open to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Willing to work in shifts to provide rotational 24/7 shift application support duties

What you'll do:

As an IT Support Specialist (Contract), your primary role will involve offering comprehensive IT support to both local and remote users. You'll be tasked with resolving hardware and software complications efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Your responsibilities will also include performing routine preventive maintenance activities, installing and upgrading various IT equipment and software, as well as cooperating with different stakeholders during system implementation and maintenance. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining IT assets and participating in technology refresh projects. Ensuring the implementation of IT security systems that align with corporate policies will also fall under your purview.

• Offer IT support to local and remote users to resolve hardware and software complications

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this IT Support Specialist (Contract)position brings along a minimum of two years' experience in IT desktop support and end-user support. A diploma or degree in information technology or a related field is required. You should have technical experience in IT system support and maintenance. Experience with supporting Windows and MacOS operating systems is essential, as is proficiency in setting up and supporting various mobile devices. While ITIL v3 Foundation Certification would be advantageous, it's not a strict requirement. Proficiency in computer hardware, Windows 7/10, networks, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Dell/Cisco switches/routers is also expected.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Firm in the Technology function, including but not limited to software, hardware, networking infrastructure and applications
• Providing support in IT/ IS functions such as networking, mobile device, remote, audio visual, telephony and security
