We are seeking a dedicated Production Support Engineer professional to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various departments to support and maintain our software systems.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.
Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.
Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.
Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours. There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.
Deployments during silent hours.
Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2–4 years of experience in Production Support or related role.
Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.

We are seeking a dedicated Support Engineer professional to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various departments to support and maintain our software systems.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.
Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.
Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.
Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours.
There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.
Deployments during silent hours.
Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2–4 years of experience in Production Support or related role.
Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Reporting to the Principal Officer, this role is primarily responsible for the oversight of the financial reporting for St. James’s Place International plc (Singapore Branch) (“SJPISB”). The role holder is also responsible for providing business support for SJPISB.
Key Responsibilities of the Job
Ensure that all financial reporting for SJPISB is in accordance with all relevant reporting standards/requirements and consistent with the relevant accounting policies and standards.
Ensure that the Key Finance Controls of SJPISB are appropriate including the processing of payments and transfers within the Branch's delegated authorities framework.
Responsible for review and oversight of quarterly and annual regulatory and tax-related returns including ensuring appropriate sign off and governance.
Responsible for monthly and quarterly Management Information reports for distribution to SJPISB management and relevant Committees.
Ensure that all other monthly, quarterly, and annual timetable actions are completed, and the SJPISB's Finance Monthly Task Calendar is signed off accordingly.
Be the local liaison for the auditors to allow them to complete their annual audit in a time efficient manner.
Ensure all relevant mandates, controls and documentation are updated and in line with MAS requirements.
Provide local oversight of service relationships with external banking providers, corporate secretarial, tax and other advisers.
Support SJPISB in its oversight of its third party providers including the administration centres, asset custodian, actuary and payroll providers.
Responsible for the production of the outsourcing oversight Management Information reports.
Support SJPISB and the Asia & Middle East Finance Division in related processes as requested by the Principal Officer.
Requirements of the Job:
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, etc.) with knowledge of Singapore FRS and accounting fundamentals
Sound working knowledge of insurance accounting and RBC 2 reporting will be advantageous
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and liaise with other stakeholders to find the best solutions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

As a Performance Operations System/FactSet Support, your main focus will be to support and maintain our FactSet Systems (B-One system and FactSet (SPAR/PA) system), used by the Performance team for the production of performance measurement, reporting and attribution analysis.
You will also support our enterprise-wide operating model for Performance & Analytics (“P&A”) Reporting, that would include integration with our proprietary database called HERA for downstream reporting in HERA and ATHENA Dashboards, and with our data providers (Fund Accountants & Middle Office Service Provider) for all data related queries & feeds.
In addition, you will have supplementary responsibilities that would include ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance and analytical reporting for various stakeholders, that include Portfolio Managers, Client Groups (Sales and Marketing), Senior Management and Local Business Units (LBUs).
Maintenance of our FactSet Systems: B-One system, and FactSet (SPAR/PA) system.

Conduct, support & maintain set-ups, configurations, workflows and data checks in our FactSet Systems and in the P&A Operating Workflow
Investigate & resolve breaks and potential issues related to the P&A Operating Workflow, by identify root cause, by engaging stakeholders (FactSet counterparts, HERA engineers and Data Providers e.g. Fund accountants and Middle Office service provider) and by working towards proper resolution
Escalate timely errors, processes gaps and other inaccuracies as needed
Liase & work closely with the key stakeholders for re-designing process flows and for maintenance of our FactSet Systems and our P&A Operating Workflow
Maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations
Answer & support query on fund and benchmark returns, asset returns or attribution results
Ensure all new procedures are documented and agreed
Identify and execute continuous process improvement and automation
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
5 years relevant experience in support & maintaining Performance or Attribution system, for performance analysis, investment risk analysis or similar role
Experience in using Factset Systems (preferably FactSet (SPAR/PA/Vault) system, B-One is a plus)
Implementation / System Migration experience of a Performance or Attribution system is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field
Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives)
Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL queries
Good Python, C# and VBA skillset to support data transformation & workflow automation
CIPM or CFA is preferred (or working towards)
Language skills – English required, fluency in one or more asian languages will be a plus
