In this role, you’re expected to:

• Process FX transactions settlement, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products.

What’s the role?

The Contracts team is a part of the Bloomberg Finance and Admin department. It is deeply ingrained in the customer service and operations of the organization. The role of a Contracts Operations Analyst in this business is to provide excellent customer service to a large global client base. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to train others.
• Ability to write and analyze SQL queries.
• Some background in C# or other similar object-oriented programming languages
• Familiar with common software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
• Traveling may be required occasionally
• Background in React.js or other similar front-end JavaScript frameworks will be an added advantage
• Some commodity/energy trading industry knowledge will be an added advantage

Your new role

• Liaise with clients on trade settlements issues including confirmation of settlement amounts, exchanging of SSIs and finalization of settlement confirmation arrangements.
• Follow up and liaise with Trade Control, Client, and Front Office teams in resolving settlement related queries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of settlement details in payment system.
• Point of contact for clients on payment inquiries.
• Control, monitor and resolve settlements/system breaks status.
• Participate in the team's related projects and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or Degree qualification
• Good organizational skills and understanding of Back office Operations responsibilities and processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and is proactive in nature
• A good team player and ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Product Suite
• Product knowledge of FICC derivative products and ISDA Definitions preferred.
