Main Responsibilities:

Data Management & Forecasting:

Maintain up-to-date and accurate supply and demand (SnD) data for drybulk freight, reflecting current market conditions. Compile and update all relevant data and forecast components to anticipate market trends.

Market Analysis:

Stay informed on market trends, policies, and currency fluctuations affecting drybulk freight supply and demand. Transform this information into actionable market insights and adjust SnD outlooks accordingly.

Global Coordination:

Monitor global drybulk freight and demand.

Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate adjustments for specific products.

Communication & Reporting:

Effectively communicate key changes in drybulk freight supply and demand to commercial teams.

Synthesize and present insights to help stakeholders understand market dynamics and swing factors.

Quantitative Modeling:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Marine, Trade or related field of study

The Role

The role reports into the Client Services Manager, who manage PL Re Asia Client Services within the Operations team.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE

The focus of the Trade Support Specialist within the Brevan Howard Operations team is on ensuring the complete, accurate and timely capture of trades and lifecycle events. The core services, processes and controls are provided to portfolio managers and execution traders within the Brevan Howard group to ensure accurate risk and P&L capture.
