This role is responsible to conduct test and scheduling/ coordinating of testing with other departments to ensure timely delivery of results. This role is also required to perform peer review of laboratory data, support OOS and Deviation investigations.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Understanding and execution of Biochemical such as cell counts, flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR analysis, and compendial testing (pH, Conductivity, Appearance) as per USP, JP, and EP standards.
• Documentation and review of results in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, lab supplies ordering, management of glass wares, autoclaving etc.
• Support sample logistics area including retention sample storage, external lab test, QC documents control, shipment of QC samples.
• Prepare, maintain standards and reagents as required by GMP documents.
• Responsible to follow data integrity requirements.
• Actively contributes to operational efficiency/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Problem solving of analytical methods as well as troubleshooting of equipment. Involved in equipment qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting. Support / Perform OOS, deviation investigations. Draft investigations reports.

Education / Experience

• Degree/Diploma in a relevant Science field or Equivalent

Position Summary

The Lab Analyst will be working in the Analytical Service Laboratory in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, plays a multifaceted role that encompasses precise chemical analysis, adherence to quality management systems, assist in the analytical method development, handling LIMS platform and active participation in production-related activities. This position is designed to contribute to the laboratory's commitment to ISO/IEC 17025 standards and involve in CAPA for sample analysis while also supporting production processes to meet organizational objectives.

Major Position Responsibilities

The Lab Analyst, will be responsible for maintaining compliance of laboratory activities with Employee Health and Safety (EHS) requirements which includes adhering to all quality and the laboratory's standard operating procedures, including those for calibration and maintenance of equipment and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and instruments. The Lab Analyst works with minimum supervision and independently in the laboratory, plant and/or manufacturing area, he/she will also be able to coach and collaborate with junior staff including the production team or other teams in the organization when required. He/she is a team player that can work independently, organized, and possesses good analytical and communication skills. In addition, the Lab Analyst should implement continuous improvement initiatives and activities for the laboratory.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily analysis of internal and external samples including urgent analysis requirements to support plant product, IQC,Raw materials samples, onsite plant UPW monitoring.
• Perform analysis qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or chemical experiments in laboratories for quality or processcontrol or to develop new products or processes.
• Daily calibration/standard preparation, analytical instrument tuning and performance monitoring, performmaintenance/troubleshooting when necessary and keep track on the parts/consumables.
• Data key in LIMS, make calculations and interpret test results to determine if process changes are needed.
• Chemical inventory and waste disposal management.
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and flameionization detectors.
• Clearly labelling of all chemicals for storage and disposal of chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all calibrations and maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.

Education Background and Experience

• Min. Diploma in Chemistry or chemical-related discipline
• 3-4 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Possess knowledge and experience in 1- 2 years ICPMS/OES.
• Possess some experience supervisory skills or competency in ISO/IEC 17025
• Experience in writing SOP.
• Possess skills in method validation.
• Gas Chromatography FID detector skills will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping or logistics, with administrative experience being a plus.

• Knowledge of TradeNet and LC is an advantage.

• recognised qualification in Food Science or Baking
• knowledge of functional ingredients in baking
• good working knowledge of bread and cake production
• excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• good command of written and spoken English
• able to travel overseas as and when required

Mandatory Skills

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring applications and infrastructure alerts.
• Recommending and implementing solutions to mitigate potential production issues.
• Taking ownership, responding to incident tickets, and closing open incident tickets by adhering to service level agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an application support role.
• Proficiency in Unix commands, Shell scripting, and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, Kafka, and ActiveMQ is a plus.
• Exposure to the banking industry is advantageous.

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

• Handle daily administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
• Organize and maintain files, records, and documents (both digital and physical).
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and meeting agendas.
• Provide support in document preparation for internal and external communications.

2. Operational Support:

• Assist with monitoring and maintaining the organization's operational processes to ensure efficiency.
• Support in data entry, updating systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Help track business operations performance and assist with project timelines.
• Coordinate and support logistical arrangements for business events, conferences, or travel.

3. Communication & Coordination:

• Act as a point of contact between departments, ensuring effective communication.
• Prepare and distribute internal communications, such as memos, newsletters, or updates.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and other external parties as needed.
• Assist with resolving issues or queries from staff or clients in a timely manner.
  

4. Project Management Assistance:

• Assist with managing business projects by tracking progress and deadlines.
• Ensure project documentation is organized and accessible.
• Coordinate resources and logistics for project execution.
• Support project teams in conducting research and preparing reports.
• Support with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and processes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience (experience in the flavour industry an advantage).
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective team player, with good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with clients.
• Knowledge in digital marketing tools a plus.
