You will be supporting the more technical day-to-day processes carried out by the Data Operations team, with the aim to provide timely, accurate and complete security reference, pricing, benchmark, index, and analytics data to the UBS Asset Management Division – in line with defined requirements.

Team provides 24*6 coverage to ensure uninterrupted support and assistance to the Asset Management Division. Team members are in Chicago, Zurich, Krakow, Singapore, and Pune.

Your expertise

You have:

• A university degree, ideally in – Information Technology / Business Mgmt. / Finance
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial institution or similar organization
• Knowledge of asset classes, financial instruments, benchmarks, indices
• Working knowledge of / familiarity with UBS AM application landscape – Panacea, DD Pipe, Performance Workbench, AMDH, BComp, IDL, SCD, Sentinel, Pop, Yoda, AMDF, etc.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL, VBA, Informatica ETL, Unix)
• Solid experience in reconciliation, root cause analysis and complex troubleshooting - ability to organize, cleanse, and analyze big data to understand relationships, inconsistencies, and unknowns.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Working with subject matter experts to document requirements or processes on multiple and varied change initiatives which are either regulatory mandated or discretionary in nature.
• Production of a business case and requirements or co-ordination of user acceptance testing.
• In delivering a project, the team works closely with the Transaction Reporting Controls Group, Global Markets Operations functions, as well as other stakeholders including the Front Office/COOs, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal and Tax.
