The Job

The APAC Asset Services department are responsible Corporate Actions events relating to Equity and Fixed Income products. The incumbent will play a vital role executing the Accounting processes, support in the budget forecasting and planning activities, work closely within Finance team in identify, proposing & supporting the implementation of various key projects to improve the Finance systems, tools and processes.

• Support the Accounting team in checking & analysing SAP data during the closing process, especially revenue & profitability;
• Analyse & explain the impact of major currency exchange movements.
• Prepare local management reporting & explain results after analysis;
• Report data into group consolidation system, ensuring accuracy of data;
• Perform Sales / COGS / Expenditure variance analysis;
• Maintain profitability calculation system and upload and process SAP data into this system;

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 4-5 years of Commercial Accounting experience.
• Current/ previous experience working across Asia Pacific region in an automotive companies will be preferred or in consumer goods, electronics, and/or advertising industry.
• Strong Finance and Accounting Management, Financial Budgeting and project management skillset
• Knowledge of accounting software/tools (e.g. SAP Finance, Tableau) would have added advantageous.
• Must be proficient in Business English and Business Japanese in order to communicate clearly and fluently with the respective counterparts in the Global Headquarter and the Group Companies in the region. Ability to communicate in other language(s) would have added advantage.

What is the job like?
