The main objectives of this position are to support the management of multi-asset portfolios and various investment initiatives.

The Analyst helps support management of multi-asset portfolios that invest across public assets/geographic regions/sectors/factors/currencies. The Analyst is expected to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and translate these into implementable investment strategies.

The Analyst will collaborate with other professionals in AIAIM as well as AIA Group to achieve the position’s objectives. The role requires good communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Manager(s) in management of multi-asset portfolios in accordance with investment mandate, including implementation of TAA overlays
• Enhance existing investment chart pack by incorporating insightful indicators that can update stakeholders of key developments across various financial markets
• Perform quantitative (e.g. backtests of investment strategies, monte carlo simulation) and qualitative analysis to support idea generation, portfolio construction and risk management
• Work closely with colleagues in Middle Office and Operations to enhance trading processes, portfolio risk monitoring and performance attribution of multi-asset portfolios
• Prepare presentation materials that effectively explains investment strategy and performance drivers to stakeholders

Requirements

• Ideal candidate would have around 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-asset role
• Excellent programming (e.g. Python) and quantitative skills (e.g. multi-asset modelling, time series analysis)
• Familiarity with Bloomberg is preferred

Job Summary: Be responsible for the consolidation and reporting of actuals and financial forecast from the affiliates, by setting up or using existing processes for gathering, maintaining, and analyzing the required information and improving the quality of information submitted to Global HQ. Partner with Area HQ stakeholders to forecast SG&A expense during LBE cycle and review with Area DVP and Area Financial Controller, monitor and track the spending to keep it within control. Support Area HQ BHR to track and reconcile APAC headcounts to make sure clear status update in each LBE cycle. To support the affiliates in using the ADC financial planning system and accounting system (S4 HANA) This would include training of new personnel, maintenance, and control of the planning system. Job Scope:

· Responsible for handling day-to-day finance operations to support the business (i.e. distributor claims review, and rebate accrual/true up tracking and monitoring)

· Maintain Area finance calendar, support Area finance team to coordinate with Demand, Global and Country finance for setting up proper dates of submission timing.

· Prepare, consolidate, and analyze monthly actual reports required by Global HQ and Area Finance including Flash report, Capital, DSO, DOH, SG&A. Ensure accurate and timely submissions.

· Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate daily/weekly sales reporting required by Global HQ and Area Finance. Track and monitor actual sales and margin performance.

· Provide analyses and commentary and proactively highlight unusual trends and take timely action to address variances.

· Consolidation of Quarterly LBE (Latest Best Estimates) and ad hoc reports required by Area Finance and Global HQ.
