What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Expert with designing, building, and operating distributed complex software systems on Google Cloud, AWS, Azure. and/or VMWare.
• Experience across languages like C, C++, Go, Python, etc.
• Good current knowledge of the Teradata technology stack, with specific architectural understanding of public cloud Networking, Object and Block services, Serverless, Containerization, Security and Compliance, Abstraction layers, and more

What You’ll Bring

• Be intimately familiar with Teradata’s architecture frameworks, principles, and advocated positions and / or have an industry architecture framework certification such as TOGAF, Zachman or FEA.
• ‘Passionate’ and enthusiastic about data, analytics, and Teradata.
• Have at least 3+ years hands-on experience in architecting, designing, delivering, or optimizing Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake solutions.
• Able to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of client solutions from definition phase through implementation.
• Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and have a keen interest in - and understanding of - digital transformation and data strategy and of the developments in the data and analytic technology world.
• Have experience of architecting, designing, and implementing Cloud-based solutions; Public Cloud experience or certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Works to become a go-to person for both the customer and Teradata team for ideas, advice, and guidance.
• Ability to clearly communicate solution design and approach with client technical and business stakeholders.

Brief Description:

The DevOps Engineer provides architecture and design skills to integrating applications and maintaining their performance. This involves knowledge of onboarding newly created application environment; Jira, DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git etc across USA, London and Singapore to provide support. This role requires reactive and pro-active problem solving, ideas and the personality to back them up, along with practical, automation and utilitarian activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code (review) & test of previous applications & new efficient maintainable applications
• Create IAC using Terraform
• Utilise Ansible configuration management
• Migrate customers to cloud
• Modernise applications from Monoliths to Microservices
• Assist in diagnosis of production issues as part of 24x7 support role
• Enforce coding and security standards across the business
• Liaise with management regarding all aspects of projects, and to help ensure that they are kept in line with budgets and timescales
• Problem Analysis
• Designing & documenting information
• Initiate, promote, and drive forward programmes of continuous improvement for our structural engineering teams
• Keep up to date with new, emerging technologies and changes within the industry
• Provide support and supervision to less experienced colleagues during implementation stages
• Understand and implement the company’s information security (related) policies as applicable to day-to-day activities
• Provide training where necessary
• Mentor & train new / junior staff

about the job

• Design and realization of high-speed low-power small-area network chips
• Support high-level functional development and verification of analog and mix-circuit circuitry
• Lead analog designs during product development
• Responsible for the design and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits, particularly the CMOS signal processing circuits with profession in one of these areas, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, ESD/EMC suppression

skills & experience required

• PhD / Master / Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Integrated Circuit / Microelectronics Engineering
• Min 4 years of hands on / research experience with analog / mixed-signal ICs circuit design
• Willing to work in a new start up entity in Singapore
• Proficient in one of the following : ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, ESD/EMC suppression
• Project experience in one of the following areas : ADC-DAC design PLL or clock/freq generation design/power management
• Solid experience in Using EDA CAD tools and performing Analog Custom Layout
• Experience in measuring IC performance and debug of design to correlate simulations to measurements
• Knowledge & experience in Verilog coding a plus
