Mid-Level ServiceNow Engineer - 3 to 5 years hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.
Job Summary:
ServiceNow Engineer will have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining the
ServiceNow platform to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver seamless service
delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to
work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Platform Development and Configuration
● Design, develop, and implement custom workflows, modules, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
● Configure ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and others as per business needs.
● Create and manage UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.
2. Administration and Maintenance
● Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure system reliability and security.
● Monitor system performance and resolve incidents, bugs, or technical issues promptly.
● Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
3. Integration and Customization
● Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement integrations with third-party systems.
● Develop custom applications or enhance existing ones to meet unique business requirements.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
● Work closely with business units to understand and document requirements, translating
them into technical solutions.
● Provide technical guidance and support training to end-users and team members.
5. Innovation and Optimization
● Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement using the ServiceNow platform.
● Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
● Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
● Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
● Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, and MID Server.
● Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, version management, and performance optimization.
● ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
● Advanced certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer) – preferred.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
