Role: System Analyst

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

· SQL / PL-SQL, Java, Unix shell scripts

· Netreveal / Actimize / Fircosoft AML application,

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform impact analysis on Project scope and document proposed solution and estimated required effort

- Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional specifications based on the functional and non-functional requirements document

- Collaborate with Functional Business Analyst to clarify functional and non-functional requirements

- Define and ensure traceability from functional specifications to business requirements

- Ownership of the creation of functional design specifications and technical design document

- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specification and technical design during build, test and deployment phase

- Review and contribute to test planning and design for SIT and UAT

- Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request)

- Provide input to impact assessment and estimation for Project Change Request

- Manage and work with vendor and internal teams to successfully deliver committed scope for AML systems

- Manage and work with stakeholders during all phases of system changes delivery

- Coordinate and plan with Infra and change management teams for application deployment activities in DevOps environment.

- Conduct technical delivery/process knowledge and best practices sharing/training sessions with internal teams to help improve overall delivery competency level.

Key Requirements:

- AML/Compliance Tech system enhancements delivery experience in the banking industry

- Hands on experience in design and configurations/development work for the NetReveal AML application

- Experience in leading, with good results, design gathering and design workshops with users as part of project delivery or defects fix it work

- Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix skills

- Good application design operational impact awareness

Job Purpose: To help company manage the various key systems and develop integration strategy according to the company’s strategic IT direction.

Job Description:

1. Support Finance department to resolve and analyze issues with Dynamic 365 Finance.

2. Support Commercial team to resolve and analyze issues with billing system.

3. Support Operation team to resolve and analyze issues with ship operation system.

4. Manage and enhance existing 3rd party systems integration with Dynamic 365 Finance.

5. Help identify business requirements and develop solutions to address those requirements.

6. Help design, setup and maintain company centralized data vault, which is a key initiative to take ownership of company data.

7. Work with stakeholders to identify and develop integration mechanisms of 3rd party system with centralized data vault.

8. Provide recommendations to keep pace with technological advancement in Database technology.

9. Be the project leader for new system deployments.

10. Assist with daily IT support of ISD department.

Skills requirement:

1. Strong programming skills in SQL/MySQL, XML, XSLT, HTML/CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, php, and Python.

2. Has experience working in accounting system with basic accounting concept

3. Familiar with Microsoft Dynamic 365 environment

4. Familiar with Microsoft 365 – Power Platform

5. Familiar with Microsoft Azure environment

6. Familiar with Microsoft Server environment

7. Familiar with Microsoft Databases – SQL DB, Azure SQL database, Dataverse

Qualification:

1. University graduate or diploma in computer sciences related disciplines

2. Microsoft certification in Azure Database or SQL Database related disciplines

3. Min 5 years working experience with Database and application development.

4. Accounting software and business analysis experience is preferred

5. This role required to communicate with counter part in China

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements,transforming them into actionable project plans and system improvements.
• Analyze existing systems to identify optimization opportunities, troubleshooting areas for improvement and ensuring data integrity and high availability.
• Develop,test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for business-critical applications.
• Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and data modeling to support efficient data handling and processing.
• Design, schedule, and manage batch jobs using Control M for regular data loads,extracts, and other automation needs.
• Monitor job schedules, troubleshoot errors, and proactively resolve batch processing issues to minimize downtime.
• Work within DevOps frameworks to integrate automated scripts and processes,streamlining deployment, monitoring, and support of database and application systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless database deployments, patches, and rollbacks.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for database-related issues, batch job failures, and application troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Design, Application Support, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Netreveal,Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, batch scripting, Control M, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with shell scripting and other automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud database services and distributed computing frameworks.

What will you do?

• Understand the business processes and work with users to design and develop an end-to-end solution.
• Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use of application system and information technology.
• Manage the development of the application system and ensure the project is implemented within budget and according to schedule.
• Design solutions that are of quality and functional to ensure a good user experience.

What are we looking for?
