Responsibilities:

• Assist Engineer in coordinating and supervising maintenance and overhauling jobs
• Prepare Job Acceptance on completion of Jobs
• Monitor and update job status daily.
• Supervise mechanical / diesel / air-conditioning works
• Liaise with customers and contractors on works to be carried out
• Arrange for inspection / job acceptance
• Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops

Requirements:

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance on company’s construction equipment
• Dismantles defective equipment and install new or repaired mechanical and electrical parts
• Handles & follows up on equipment issues such as repair & maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment

• Liaise & supervise the appointed contractors / Term Contractor for any maintenance, repairs and / or renovation works and to ensure standard of work is performed
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, or contractors regarding system status, repairs, and timelines.
• Support foreman / manager in supervision of night site works, ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to when carrying out maintenance works
• Co-ordinate job site activities to consistently meet timeline, customer / client job requirements, SOPs, and statutory regulations
• Carry out any other duties or instructions assigned by the Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• N/O Level/ Higher /Nitec/ Diploma
• Preferably with atleast 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Required to work hands-on and in Non-Aircon environment
• Able to be on standby after office hours for any technical / electrical works default.
• Possess knowledge of cable & wiring, AC/ DC drives & inverter motors
• Candidates must have class 3 driving licence. Need to travel from time to time for business needs.
• Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings and sketches to calculate requirements
