As part of our business growth, we are looking into putting additional resources to cater for the business expansion. The team comprises of specialist and operational technicians to focus on the areas of disaster management.
BELFOR has been in the industry for more than a quarter decade and having regional offices across various Asia countries and operational emergency site kits planted in strategic locations which could be mobilised at the shortest time to attend to critical situation - that makes us different, swift, mobile and responsiveness to any emergency situations.
As the elite team, technicians shall carry out the designated jobsite recovery program to varuious equipment, building and facilities in accordance with company’s work instructions and applying safe operating procedures – processes may be under close supervision depending on the level of complexity of assigned project(s).
Other key responsibilities shall be incepted as part of the necessarities: -
- Carry out recovery and restoration services of equipment, building (internal /external) and its affected contents
- Carry out decontamination services for building, equipment, facilities and restore to the serviceable standard and conditions
- Carry out preventive maintenance program as may be necessary during annual periodic maintenance schedule
- Under the supervision of senior technician /supervisor, the technician shall work alongside with the other experienced technicians to carry out various dismantling and reassembly of electrical / electronic and /or mechanical components and parts
- Perform incoming equipment general inspections, cleaning, unscheduled maintenance and calibration as may be assigned
- Carry out simple/detail dismantling of equipment components for inspection, cleaning, purging and reassembly
- Decontamination of equipment and its associated components by utilizing approved chemicals following strict safe procedures.
- By applying safe work procedures and instructions, carry out instructional restoration services
- Maintain records keeping, equipment and supplies in a clean, sanitary, systematic and organized manner
- Perform restoration of damaged properties by removing and replaced materials and parts – including sanitizing structure features
- Perform replacement of damaged materials cause by water damage /ingression and drying out the areas – may include removal of mould
- May require the use of portable machinery, moisture meters, drying equipment including movers, dehumidifiers and other specialty equipment to carry out restoration
- Participate in daily pre-work commencement briefly and follow up on outstanding tasks
