Requirements

Responsible for performing installation, commissioning and after-sales service support in all sales territories.

Job Description & Duties

• Attend to preventive maintenance and service breakdown calls
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Process Technician's primary responsiblity is to ensure the smooth operation of his/her assigned Process Unit, be it in either the Field or DCS Panel Operation.

Job Description

DCS Operation

• Perform starts up and shuts down according to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions or Checklists.
• Monitor and control process variables via DCS (towers, reactors, driers, compressors, etc) to maintain quality & plant in steady & efficient condition.
• Respond to process alarms, process upsets or abnormal process conditions according to established practices and procedures in order to begin or cease production as advised by Supervisor or Engineers.
• Troubleshoots equipment and/or process problems in order to identify needed corrections or improvements.
• Initiate and perform Safety bypass with approval from Supervisor.

Field Operation

• Performs equipment line-ups and operate towers, reactors, driers, compressors, pumps, etc according to established practices and procedures.
• Responds to upsets or abnormal process conditions according to instructions from Supervisor or Panelman.
• Troubleshoots equipment and/or process problems in order to identify needed corrections or improvements.
• Collect process samples from assigned sampling points in a safe manner.
• Equipment Inspection Tours according to checklist.

Requirements

• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology /Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 1-2 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to Process Plant Operations and site-based activity or equivalent.
• Experience in Safety Awareness programs or involvement in Safety Committees will be an added advantage.

The aircon technician will be involved in the maintenance, repair, and installation of different types of air conditioning systems. Aircon Technician will be involved in performing general maintenance services in households and offices all across Singapore, including washing aircon, diagnosing and rectifying issues in all brands and types of aircon, and installing and dismantling aircon. This role has the following responsibilities:
- Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn out or defective parts.
- Perform chemical washes and chemical overhauls.
- Perform repair and maintenance on malfunctioning air conditioners.
- Perform general maintenance services on normally-functioning air conditioners.
- Prepare service reports after every completed job.
- Keep a record of job schedules.
- Pick up and deliver required materials and supplies as and when required.
- Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor or management.
This role requires the following skills
- Possess a CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENSE.
- Must be a confident driver and have experience driving medium-large-sized vans.
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an air conditioner technician performing chemical wash, general servicing, repairs, and installation.
- Experience working in CENTRALISED AIRCON SYSTEM maintenance is a big advantage.
- Confident at carrying out repairs and cleaning on all common aircon brands for wall-mounted, ceiling, casement, ducted, and portable aircon in Singapore including Daikin, Panasonic, Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, Heavy Industries, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Carrier, and Europace.
- Able to speak and write basic English (excellent English is a strong advantage)
- Knowledge of electrical wiring.
- Able to do some heavy lifting and climbing.

Copier Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain & hands-on repair/service any brand of copier machines / printers.
• Conduct quality inspection upon stock arrival.
• Conduct product testing with samples provided on copier machines / printers.
• Provide technical advice and report on quality of samples / products.
• Resolve customer complaint for faulty product at customer’s premises when required.
• File and maintain samples sent for testing or faulty items etc.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

Copier Technician Job Requirements:

• Minimum 'O'/ 'N' Level & Above.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in repairing copier machines.
• Prior experience with servicing Ricoh, Canon, Toshiba,Konica Minolta, Xerox, Kyocera copier/printers will be an advantage.
• Familiar with copier/printer software applications, install and testing network connectivity on site.

• Operate and monitor machinery which distillate, filter, separate, heat or refine chemicals, to blend,mix, process a wide range of chemical products
• Handover and takeover of plant status, routine check on plant, ensure all bleeders and vents are close
• Console technician to handover and takeover of plant status face to face at control room, check on MOS, screen through all pages for abnormality and check status of fire panel
• Report any leaks, deviation, and abnormality and unsafe conditions in the plant to Team Leader
• Perform process start-up, normal operation and shut-down in accordance to work instructions, ensure no deviation on process and safety
• Monitor processes, taking samples and performing routine chemical and physical tests of products and recording production data. Ensure products are meeting product specifications
• Line up for tank transfer and monitor transfer of products in conformance with safety procedures
• Logistic operation (Loading/unloading ISO tankers, road trucks, drumming, etc)
• Troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions, carrying out routine operating verification tests, filter cleaning, minor piping/spool connection/disconnect and request for maintenance if needed
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, LOTO, check for leaks and gas test, De LOTO, AFTT, test run and put equipment back in service
• Assess the area or equipment before signing the permit assessor portion
• Respond to process upsets, leaks and emergency situations (as ERT team member)
• To support maintenance activities/other departments/shifts on shortage of manpower
• Monitor, report and intervene any unsafe conditions and situations
• Raise concern on MOS, safety critical equipment and MOC/PSSR as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Good team worker, good communication skills, safety/process knowledge and troubleshooting skills are prerequisites
• Work 12-hour shifts and be physically fit
• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology with 1 to 5 years of working experience in Chemical/Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas manufacturing industries
• Good understanding in general EHS practices
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
