Associate Medical Laboratory Technologists (AMLT) are responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory which include phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, spirometry and clinical laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory

Assist the Cargo Supervisor on conduction of anticipated inspection of the MGO and potable water bunkering hoses, reporting in advance its condition whether it is approved for use or whether it must be removed from service.
• Communicate to the Cargo Supervisor all marine or safety systems' potential and actual incidents or defects, taking positive actions to stop hazards and unsafe behaviors, request technical advice as necessary and prepare, follow up and close out any necessary vendor assistance on board for the Marine department, in liaison with relevant leaderships.
• Contribute so that the vessel always holds valid Flag, Class and Port State certification by participating audits and inspections, supporting the Marine Superintendent and Cargo Supervisor in preparing the marine department and assisting to close out all non-conformities and observations.
