- Troubleshooting, Servicing, Repair & Maintenance of Furnaces & Ovens in Aerospace, Defence, Energy, Industrial, Tooling industries

- Preventive Maintenance of Heaters, Insulation, Sensors, Control Panel, Vacuum Pumps, Cooling Towers, Water Systems etc.

- PLC Programming / SCADA / HMI experience is an advantage (Preferably Allen Bradley/ Omron)

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished products using state-of-the-art Lab instruments like XRF, GC-FID, ICP etc
• Prepare and standardize all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods
• Ensure product identification, results, status and traceability is maintained within the Lab Information Management System Database (LIMS)
• Maintain and upkeep Laboratory instruments and workstation

Duties of Laboratory Technician:

• Assist in routine lab tasks such as paint preparation, panel setup, and airless spray applications.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis for paint products.
• Support chemists in development projects, including managing stock levels for panels, raw materials, and lab supplies.
• Participate in trial applications and inspections outside the lab under supervision.
• Handle non-chemical waste disposal and maintain a safe work environment by following ISO, safety, and environmental standards.
• Communicate progress or delays effectively with the line manager.
• Ensure workplace safety, especially in handling chemicals, and follow preventive measures to reduce risks.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare generating unit activities to come on stream in accordance with real time dispatch schedule.
• Respond appropriately to system defects, and rectify problems as required.
• Carry out all Plant operating activities, including isolation, in line with operational guidelines.
• Carry out all routine Plant tests and periodic auxiliary equipment changeover in accordance with approved procedures and schedules.
• Schedule, act and document authorities for maintenance work as required.
• Identify and report defective plant and equipment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date and timely records of all key operational activities.
• Closely monitoring the operational parameters in the DCS, carryout routine checklist, routine test and suggestion for improvements.
• Take up the role of Authorized Person (AP) as per the PTW procedure.
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

Major Challenges

• Start-up/Shut down Gas turbine and steam turbine as per start-up/shut down schedule.
• Act in emergency to avoid undue trips to process steam export and meet the load schedule without any non-conformance.
• Investigate plant abnormalities, and take corrective course of action during shift (plant trips, unit de-ration, occurrence of fire etc.)

Key Decisions & Dimensions

• Carry out first-level maintenance as required.
• Carry out routine GT fuel changeover and equipment changeover without affecting the plant operation.
• Assist shift engineer in analyzing the problem encountered and find solution/procedure/practices to avoid the repetition.
• Monitor performance and maintain optimum unit efficient during operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum NITEC with relevant technical qualification
• Preferably two years of relevant experience
