About the Job

The Field Service Technician is a vital member of the Technical Support Team, responding to customer requests for on-site attention, from training, installing, upgrading, and solving technical issues and ensuring a high level of merchant satisfaction.

What's in the Job

• Whenever a new merchant signs up for CubePay's digital payment service(s), you are required to help the merchant get started, from training, guiding, installing, setting up, and upgrading payment terminal devices - hardware, device software, and related networks.
• You will be on standby to respond to merchants requesting on-site technical support.
• You will be required to make scheduled visits to merchants to troubleshoot, and solve their technical problems, as and when required.
• Finally, you will be required to send your service reports so we can continue to monitor and improve the quality of our customer support.

The Candidate

• You must have at least an ITE NITEC vocational qualification, its equivalent, and/or higher.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license or Class 2B motorcycle.
• Possess beginner to intermediate consumer IT, hardware, software, and system networking knowledge.
• Comfortable in setting up and installing consumer smart devices (such as your smartphones, home networking routers, WIFI, etc).
• Able to be put on standby duty, including weekends and public holidays.
• An independent problem-solver, a pleasant personality, communicates well with customers, and a team player.

Job Description

1. Maintain tunnel washer, washer extractor and dryers to keep laundry machinary and equipment in operational condition.
2. Follow standard routine system check procedure.
3. Follow regular maintenance programme procedure.
4. Perform troubleshoot-ing, repair and servicing procedure.
5. Upkeep spare parts inventory records.
6. Manage machinery cleaning and housekeep-ing of maintenance, repair and servicing tools.

Job Requirement

1. At least a Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics, or other Engineering-related field.
2. At least 1 year of working experience. Preferred in laundry or manufacturing industry.

· Responsible for the smooth operation and overall performance of all buildings’ services by running shift duty or daily normal duty.

· Carry out daily check and logging of Hotel M & E plant and equipment.

· Ensure PPM Schedule and repair works are carried out accordingly.

· Carry out daily repair & maintenance works assigned by Technical Officer.

· Provide emergency supports to all building services as and when required.

· To implement regular inspections on all services, e.g. the fire alarm and protection systems, chiller system etc.

· Ensure comfort levels in all F&B outlets, office spaces and public areas through physical checks in the area.

· Ensure prioritized attention to maintenance work orders and complaints respecting the department’s standards.

· To assist in ordering any spare parts, ensures speedy completion of jobs that needs to be carried out.

· Provide front-line supports and trouble-shoot in the event of breakdowns.
