Main Responsibilities:

Automotive Mechanic / Technician

Job scope:

1. Utilize specialized equipment to test and validate cells, modules, hybrid gearbox components under electrical, mechanical and thermal stresses

2. Perform complex destructive testing and gather data from a variety of sensors

3. Perform teardown inspection post-testing and gather data to be used for further analysis

4. Maintain test equipment and data collection tools

5. Troubleshoot data acquisition systems and sensors

6. Collaborate with other teams on sample build, preparation, and instrumentation

Requirements:

1. Experience in the Passenger car industry, HV repair experience will be good to have.

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Requirements

• Nitec in Engineering related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in troubleshooting of mechanical/ machinery systems

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble framework parts, including drilling, tapping, and installation of fittings and components.
• Conduct electrical wiring and termination tasks efficiently.
• Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Foreman, or Assistant Foreman.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and requirements during the completion of tasks.
• Maintain daily working tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the work area, promoting excellent housekeeping practices.

• To execute daily work within the control room:
• control room operation
• routine maintenance of pumps, SM, ventilators
• study set-up (glassware)
• qualification of smoke protocol
• test smoking
• aerosol measurement
• instrument calibration check
• To assist in planning of test substance preparation and conditioning.
• Assist in development of standard operating procedures and work instruction
• To prepare daily report
• To run experiments to study the background of aerosol technical aspects.
• To assist in configuring the control room data acquisition application(s) as needed.
• To ensure the cleanliness in the working environment
• To organize and conduct the practical aspects of additional measurements such as particle size determination.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in engineering
• Experience in calibration
