Job description

• Inspects, maintains and repairs various types and brand of air conditioner system, including split units, window and casement units.

• Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning system.

• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.

• Carries out repair works such as replacement of air con compressor, fan coil motors etc.

• Any other tasks, when required by the immediate supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description:

· Respond and attend to guest repair requests.

· Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.

• To perform all repairs (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic etc)
• To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved.
• To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order.
• To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements.
• Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc).
• Ensure good housekeeping of work bay.
• Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage.
• Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
• Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedures adhering to manufacturers standard 4 (Singapore).
• Lead by example to ensure high level of Health & Safety performance within the area of responsibility.
• Attend upgrading courses as and when available.
• To attend to breakdown where necessary and to be equipped with a valid Class 3/4 driving license.
• Adhere to UD/Volvo processes and policies.
• Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior.

Essential educational and/or training qualifications and certificates

• NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Preferred with valid Class 3 / 4 / 5 driving license (Singapore).

Preferred experience and knowledge

• Minimum of 4 – 6 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks (Japanese and Continental brands).
• Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts.
• Advanced engine, transmission and brake system knowledge.
• Multi-meter basic electrical values.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Calibration Lab Technician is responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of electrical measuring instruments in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role ensures accuracy, reliability, and traceability of equipment used in industrial and scientific applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration of electrical equipment and instruments, including multimeters, clamp meters, oscilloscopes, hypot tester, power meters, and other electrical test devices in laboratory or client site as required.
• Ensure all calibrations are conducted in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Conduct routine testing and quality checks on lab equipment.
• Prepare detailed calibration certificates and reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure traceability to national or international standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of calibration equipment and the lab environment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and adjust instruments as necessary to meet calibration specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant quality management systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards and methodologies related to calibration.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet customer requirements.

Job Description

• Perform regular / periodic maintenance for the diving hats, equipment & system.
• Monitor the expiry certs for the gauges, filters & parts.
• Perform function testing for diving systems before deployment to site.
• Inspect, repair and replace mechanical parts for the air compressors.
• Work with high pressure air cylinders and bailout bottles for maintenance / pressure testing.
• Liaise with 3rd party contractors for maintenance works and progress.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems will be an advantage.
• Those with Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
• Successful candidates will be sent for Dive Tech Course and all the required training.
