Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and service building facilities, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform minor repairs and improvements to buildings and equipment.

• Manage and oversee contractors and vendors to ensure cost-effective, quality repairs and maintenance.
• Provide engineering support during weekends, public holidays, or extended hours when necessary.

Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team and the CENTAURI software and hardware engineering teams to ensure that quality and throughput are maintained in device production and that quality and production metrics are captured and analysed. The Manufacturing team is led by Max, Transcelestial's Head of Hardware Engineering (https://www.linkedin.com/in/max-wisten/). This position reports to Max and will be responsible for providing support to meet production output targets and continuous smooth running of manufacturing operations.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will:

• Actively participate in the hands-on assembly of Transcelestial Centauri, our ground-breaking laser communications solution.
• Support the setup, testing and upgrades of jigs and other tools and workstations used in the manufacturing process.
• Improve overall manufacturing processes and schedules
• Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the manufacturing line
• Ensure the production yield and targets are achieved

What you will bring:

• A hardcore attitude to solving hard problems and excited by building new products and solving assembly problems

1. Perform analytical testing accurately and efficiently and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Working hours: 12hour shift x 4 days a week (as per MOM stipulated weekly work hours). Tentative schedule: Night x 2 Tues & Wed + Day x 2 Sat & Sun
Shift allowance: $100 fixed shift allowance

As a HVAC Technician, he will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Core Responsibility

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Requirement

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
