Principal Duties/Responsibilities

Carry out tests in accordance to the standard methods.
Ensure data generated in laboratory meets all the requirements of the “data handling guideline” procedure, enforced in the laboratory.
Review and repeat tests if suspicious or abnormal results are encountered.
Maintain good housekeeping of work area by cleaning up (cleaning glassware, cleaning instruments, clearing samples etc.) after each test.
Assist chemists in new methods development.
Standardize reagent/equipment, prepare titration solvents and test solutions when necessary.
Perform any tasks as assigned by management.
Maintain cleanliness of work area during work and before handing over to the next shift.
Work overtime when required.

Requirements

Minimum ITE/Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical engineering/ Science related background
One year of working experience in testing laboratory industry preferred
Physically fit, medical condition should not interfere with laboratory analysis.
Able to work in a team and willing to multi-task
Able to commit OT if required.
Good attendance.

1. Develop and implement Sales and Marketing Strategy

• Design, implement, and facilitate strategic sales plan to achieve targeted sales goal.

3. Dealer management

4. Alignment with Japan HQ

• Create report to Japan HQ and align the sales strategy direction.
• Communication function to discuss with Japan HQ for various aspect.
• Purchase and stock management for the component purchase from Japan HQ

5. Reporting and documents review

• Create quarterly financial sales assumption.
• Review tender docs and sales contract and advice to Sales team.
• Monitor stock and cashflow and take action to improve cashflow.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Marine engine, land engine or generator business
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Japanese company
• Business level of Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese Speaking customer and stakeholders in local and Japan HQ.
• Possess Accounting knowledge and understanding of industry-specific laws.
