Job Description
To conduct laboratory tests (using e.g. electrodynamic shaker and temperature/humidity chambers) in accordance with the test procedure.
To direct the test operator on the operation of test equipment (e.g. electrodynamic shaker and temperature/humidity chambers) to meeting the test requirement [NOTE: There are several laboratories which the AE is required to make (approximately 10 trips) to these laboratories every quarter.]
To liaise with equipment designers by coordinating the date/time to perform functional checks on Product Under Test.
To perform visual inspections of Product Under Test before and after tests in accordance with visual inspection checklist.
To inform customer on any test anomaly to discuss on follow-up action required.
To provide records of test and visual inspection results.
To perform mechanical assembly work.
Requirements
• Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• ESS/PDU xperience will be advantageous but not essential
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Working Hours
The working hours are as follows:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm
Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Lunch: 1 hour
