Position Summary

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity System Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate cybersecurity professional with a strong understanding of security best practices and a proven ability to implement and maintain robust security measures. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization's critical infrastructure and sensitive data from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration and Security:
  Manage critical systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
  Implement and enforce security configurations and policies across all systems.
  Perform system hardening and vulnerability assessments.
  Install, configure, and troubleshoot security software and appliances.
• CIS Hardening and Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST, GDPR).
  Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.
• Incident Response and Threat Hunting:
  Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks, data breaches, and denial-of-service attacks.
  Conduct in-depth threat-hunting activities to proactively identify and neutralize advanced threats.
• Security Monitoring and Analysis:
  Monitor security logs, alerts, and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to malicious activity.
  Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze security data and generate actionable insights.
• Technical Support and Collaboration:
  Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on cybersecurity matters.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into product development and operational processes.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement:
  Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
  Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools to enhance the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP) are a plus.

• Carry out routine maintenance of all production and packaging machines.
• Attend to breakdown of machinery.
• Perform modification and fabrication of simple machine parts.
• Periodic building maintenance ie. power failure, no water supply, lighting problems, repairs to building doors, windows and ceilings.

• Ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations.
• Follow established maintenance strategies and company policies for a safe environment.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding maintenance statu and issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experiences in facilities & building maintenance.
• ITE NITEC / Higher NITEC / GCE 'N' / 'O' Level / Diploma
• Preferably to have hospitality background
