Work in a multi-discipline team to aid in the collection and validation of system requirements.
Create automated inspection and guidance solutions using vision and other sensing technology.
Provide hands-on implementation and mentoring.
Create innovative technical concepts, ensure costing and schedule to successfully deliver the project.
Maintain knowledge of new vision, automation and sensing technology.
Detailed design specification generation.
Provide internal and on-site integration support.
Aid in the creation of test plans and documentation.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with min three (3) years of relevant experience.
Experience working with vision system database.
Knowledge of camera, light, and lens selection for applications ranging from defect detection to part location.
Programming background with high-level languages such as Visual C# WPF, C++ and Python.
Experience in developing vision system with Halcon and Opteon camera.
Good knowledge in Machine Vision programming and experiences.
Good experience on automation controls, motors & sensors like PLC, CTC, Beckoff PC and controllers, Servo & Stepper motors.
Familiarity with wiring/cabling size/terminations and load/temperature requirements.
Familiarity with industrial machinery design.
Skilled in the utilization of statistical analysis.
Required to travel regionally (average 20% of the time).

Plan, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules;
Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors/workers to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications;
Co-ordinate and establish good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
To monitor construction / project progress, ensure productivity, legal compliance and all safety precaution till completion of projects;
Monitor progress on site and ensure that quality works are carried out in order to meet quality and cost objectives, projects are completed on time, within budget;
Provide assistance in keeping track of approvals during submission stage so as to ensure compliance with government authorities;
Liaise closely with sub-contractor & consultants to ensure timely completion of projects.
