QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• ITE/Diploma in Information Technology from recognized institutes.

• Previous experience of working in an IT support role for about 1-2 years.

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional. manner, face to face, on the telephone, and in writing.

• Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques.

• Ability to plan and prioritize workload without supervision.

• Ability to prioritize, manage, and perform under pressure.

• Setup, Programming, and Support of Voice Communication systems including Local Area Networks (LANs) & Wide Area Networks (WANs)

Job Description :

• Fulfil as a solutions provider for managed and unified communications solutions for corporate and SMB offices

• To grow and build a successful long-term relationship with the client by meeting and determining their business requirements.

• Good understanding of the Alcatel-Lucent/ Sangoma suite of UC products.

• Manage and grow individual sales pipeline.

• Develop new accounts while maintaining relationships with existing customers.

• Review and monitor own sales performance for gap closure to meet and/or exceed targets.

• Attend to customer requirements and deliver the appropriate solutions.

• Provide consultation and after-sales solutions to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide second-level technical support for datacenter and building networks, including WAN and LAN environments.

· Manage and maintain firewall systems, ensuring security policies and configurations are up to date.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to various network devices, such as routers, switches, and load balancers.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and upgrades.

· Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and risks.

· Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.

· Document network configurations, changes, and incidents according to standard procedures.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of network support processes and best practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· Proven experience in a network support role, with a strong focus on datacenter and building networks.

· In-depth knowledge of firewall management and experience with firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Palo Alto.

· Proficiency in supporting a variety of network devices, including Cisco routers and switches.

· Familiarity with WAN and LAN technologies, including routing protocols and network segmentation.

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

· Relevant certifications in network technologies, such as CCNA, CCNP, Check Point Certified Systems Administrator (CCSA), and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), are advantageous.
