Location: Changi Business Park

Full budget: $3500 to $5400 (company do not provide any bonus or allowance)

Shift Timing (Working 5 days a week, Must support including night shift, weekends and public holidays)

• Morning shift: 6am to 3pm
• General shift: 9am to 6pm
• Afternoon shift: 2pm to 11pm
• Night shift: 10pm to 7am

Transport is claimable for before 7am (for morning shift 6am to 3pm), after 11pm (afternoon shift 2pm to 11pm)

Jobscope and Requirement

• Design, code, test, and debug Java applications.
• Collaborate with teams to develop new features and maintain existing software.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines
• Experience in working with Java J2EE applications
• Experience in application support role for min 1 years for support. Or Developers willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
• Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE, Unix commands, SQL queries
• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL, Shell
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, MQ setup , C:D setup experience is a plus

• Degree in IT or Computer Science

Job Description

• Planning, design, assembling and installing equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate and liaise with main con, consultants,sub-contractors.
• Supervise and check subcontractors’ works according to design drawings, specifications and regulation.
• Plan and prepare projects based on stage of activities,schedule work activities.
• Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Oversee and be overall responsible for works carried out by supervisors assigned under his/her care.
• Generate incident reports
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the construction or Electrical related fields is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project,Autocad, Project Management
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering-Electrical or equivalent.

Upon 1 year contract completion, incentive of performance bonus up to 1 month basic salary subject to reporting manager’s appraisal

Job Description

This is a client facing / delivery role, working on cloud operations in the delivery team. You will execute daily cloud operations as well as cloud implementations in technical customer engagements including basic operations and administration, specific implementation projects and/or pilots in Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery roles and success in implementation discussions, hands-on experience with good client handling skills and good team player within the team. The candidate should also be able to provide solutions and technical expertise to fellow team members and in client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge, hands-on and customer insights to operate and administer a cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure all configuration conforms to high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment, aligning to design documentation specifications
• Ability to codify or implement/deploy configurations with the principles of automation by default in new projects with proper documentations
• Ability to codify or maintain cloud systems in an automated fashion using tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform etc with proper documentation
• Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects in providing technical expertise in cloud operations and administrations
• Participate in Cloud Migrations for VMs using tools like CloudEndure with more than 50 VMs migration or Databases would be preferred
• Collaborate with team members to engage clients in operational meetings, discussions, process betterment and contribute to optimisations for the client’s environment
• Maintain technical skills, certifications and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community specifically in the cloud space
• Ability to manage issues with proper resolution/documentation and SLAs is required for this role.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Unix Servers (Linux, Solaris, Ubuntu etc)
• Able to Install Unix OS and has good troubleshooting skills for Unix systems, knowledge in hardening and securing of Unix systems.
• Advanced level of Administration and OS clustering for High Availability.
• Audit, review, and implement IT security policies.
• Experience and knowledge in supporting SAN environment and storage space management.
• Performing upgrades and applying patches or firmware updates to the virtual infrastructure software or hardware.

Requirement:

• Must have AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification or AWS specialty certification (Specialization in Cloud eg DevOps Certified Specialty, Database Specialty)

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of success in operational/administration and deployment/migration projects in Cloud and Unix System administration.
• Problem Solving: Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.
• Collaboration and Communication: Acknowledged helping to provide solutions to issues collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with proper follow up and closure.
• Technical: Strong technical experience with cloud infrastructures, migrations, and technology management preferred
• Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: Expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation Networking, OSS) would be advantageous
• Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of Containerisation technologies eg EKS/AKS/GKE/K8s/Openshift/Tanzu with CKA certification would be advantageous
• Required Cat 2b security clearance
