Job Scope:

• To carry out full-time site supervision as Resident Engineer as required under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• To carry out standing supervision as PE assignee as required under the Railway Protection Act during lifting operation
• Contract period is 14 month to cover the construction of an chinese temple at Plantation Crescent
• Contract start date: Tentatively Feb 2024
• Only 1 RE position to be filled

Remunerations:

• 2 months of gratuity will be provided upon completion of project
• Overtime is claimable, but overtime works shall be limited due to nearby residentail estates

Job Requirements:

• With valid RE certificate issued by IES
• Minimum 5 years working experience in building works supervision

• Administration experience of Storage Arrays of multiple vendors
• Administration experience of Different Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)
• Experience on AWS Cloud Specific technologies like EC2, S3, Route53, Cloud Formation, Elastic IPs, VPC, RDS and Cloud Watch.
• Configuring Elastic Load Balancers with EC2 Auto Scaling groups.
• Optimized Volumes and EC2 Instances and created multi AZ VPC Instances
• Good Understanding of AWS Elastic Block storage(EBS), various volume types and Utilization of different types of EBS Volumes based on client requirement.
• Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Incident management and change management process knowledge.
• Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background
  Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution

Job Descriptions:

• Undertake construction supervision as RE of underground building works and civil infrastructure, involving site inspection, meetings and review of drawings and method statements in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Carry out independent design checks for temporary falsework and formwork support system
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and commembet on contractor's submissions.
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects.

About you:

• Exprience in Underground work/ viaduct work.
• Minimum Civil Engineering Diploma in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an established institution and/or shall be engineer in civil/structure discipline with qualification accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RE for LTA project (MRT, underground, tunneling works) or PUB project.
• Has good working knowledge of Geotechnical and instrumentation works and compliance to Singapore Building Regulations.
• Good analytical ability wt strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude.
