We are seeking a highly-skilled, technology-driven IT professional with a deep understanding and extensive experience in managing application security, performance monitoring and API gateways. Requirements
•A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with expertise in application security, API management, network & cloud computing.

Job Description

• To assist Engineering Manager to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• To be competent to set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, including, but not limited to HD Video, UHD Video, Audio and Communication Equipment.
• To be competent in the use of Radio Frequency Equipment and antenna systems
• To be able to troubleshoot broadcasting equipment to a system level and able to communicate and report to the office and manufacturer for problem solving.
• To undertake project work from site surveys to delivering in a professional and timely manner.
• To assist in keeping equipment updated with the manufacturers latest software releases.
• To be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and systems to the required safety and technical standards with minimum disruption to operational activities.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by NEP Singapore that have not been experienced or worked with before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To work safely at all times, complying with statutory safety requirements from NEP Singapore Health and Safety Policies.
• To be able to draft technical reports of field work.
• To be competent in reading and designing of the engineering workflow.
• Prepare technical documents for the preparation of projects and amend as necessary throughout the life of the project
• Attend technical meetings for the projects when is necessary.
• To be flexible with work time and travel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in broadcast television. Preferably with direct experience of working in an Outside Broadcast environment.
• Familiar with the operation and programming of Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers, etc
• Familiar with the setup and integration of cameras, lenses, ccu’s etc.
• Experience with EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director
• Relevant engineering qualifications or a proven track record
• An understanding of radio, television, and the associated transmission and carrier systems.
• Understanding of computers, servers, IT systems and networks.
• A keen interest in broadcast technology, its development and application in the region.
• Knowledge of Cisco Switches and IP technology an advantage.

• Corporate closely with subcontractors to monitor the progress of small towns and coordinate the work resources required by subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Corporate with goverment personnel to conduct on-site inspections.
• Participate in weekly or monthly meetings with subcontractors to discuss work progress and corperate in preparing monthly meeting progress reports.
• Establish good relationships with all relevant parties.
• Corporate to ensure site safety and comply with the requirements of the authorities.
• Corporate to organize relevant physical and electronic documents on site engineer, etc.
• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree or above preferably from a recognized University accredited with PEB, Singapore

• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Projects, AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities

• Required to manage and operate (hands-on) systems (server & storage) used in the University. Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Databases, Linux, Cohesity Backup System, Office365, Microsoft HyperV, VMware/Netapp storage, Storage Spaces Direct, Hitachi (HCP), McAfee and Azure Cloud Platform. A strong knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Architecture, PowerShell, Group Policies and Active Directory Federation Service is required.
• Required to provide Systems administration of Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication platform such as Okta, Antivirus and others.
• Required to provide Management systems availability statistics and patching reports, IT DR support and IT support for teaching-learning.
• Required to perform Systems hardening, Systems patching, Systems onboarding and decommissioning and other Systems related support services.
• Work with users to identify, understand requirements and develop deployment plans, assist with planning, developing, implementing and managing all system assets deployed in the University.
• Participate in process improvements such as operational efficiency of Systems Operations to provide prompt and effective support to existing systems.
• Rotational on-call duty along with team members and after office hours support.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in design, configuration and management of Windows and Linux Infrastructure.
• Strong technical competencies and analytical mind, with specialized certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CDCP, CCNA, ITIL, etc. would be preferred.
• Good working knowledge of IT governance, systems, security and system technologies and able to work with cross-functional departments.

• Experienced in the design of water treatment plants (desalination, potable water, recycle water), wastewater treatment plants (municipal and industrial) and membranes systems (MBR, MF/UF, Reverse Osmosis, Nano-Filtration, etc.)

• Review Client’s Requirement, Technical Specifications & Tender Specifications to generate engineering deliverables (General Specification & Particular Specifications, Datasheets, Major Equipment List, Pipe List, Mass Balance, Hydraulic Profiles, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, etc.)

• Assist the Engineering Manager on engagement with Clients, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and others for the development of design, procurement, fabrication, construction, erection and commissioning works.

• Coordinate with inter-disciplines engineering team (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Automation, C&S, Piping & Systems/Skids Engineering and Drafting) on development of engineering deliverable on a timely basis.

• Reviewing and providing input to project schedule and ensure all planned dates and progress are realistic. Provide updates on engineering deliverables per schedules and implement catch-up actions where applicable.

• Procurement Services Support: Develop the applicable Equipment List/Package, Technical Specifications and Bill of Materials to support Procurement Department to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ). Assist to review the RFQ, prepare applicable technical & commercial clarifications with selected Sub-Contractors or Suppliers. Provide justification on the shortlisted Sub-Contractors or Suppliers for onward negotiations.

• Assist the Engineering Manager on the development of FAT, SAT, Pre-Commissioning, Start-up, Commissioning protocol and support the implementation.

• Development of Operational & Maintenance Manual.

Job Description & Requirements

The position will be responsible for the deployment and support of the enterprise-wide network system infrastructure and interconnected technologies that require day-to-day support and administration in order to obtain maximum availability of systems and optimal network performance.

Responsibilities :

• Administer, monitor, maintain and optimize WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi networks for optimal performance and maximum availability.
• Ensure all the Network devices (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Wireless LAN Controllers) & Firewalls remains in good working condition.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues within Network and Security areas, including performance and capacity issues.
• Respond to production issues speedily, including bringing up the defective hardware during and after office hours.
• Taking the lead in updating & documenting all Network configuration, Firmware, Network diagrams and all the cabling for all the End-Devices.
• Provide technical support and consultation, conduct procurement, and perform project management activities for enhancement and the change in Network and Security configuration.
• Define processes to manage the Network infrastructure; identify and drive service improvement initiatives to improve overall network operation quality and productivity.
• Work with vendor to manage and coordinate the infrastructure security reviews, assessments and penetration tests.
• Work with the cyber security team in the remediation of network related vulnerabilities.
• Manage network related projects as and when required.
• Any other related duties/tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or Director, Information Technology.

Requirements :

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in network administration.
• Preferably Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certified.
• Having any Security certification is advantageous.
• Familiar with the following Network configuration & setup: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN Tunnel (GRE & IPSec), VRF, HSRP / VRRP, QoS, IP Flow Top Talkers, IP Accounting, ARP, NAT, PAT, Port Channel, VXLAN, Policy Routing.
• Familiar with Security Appliances such as Cisco FirePower, Fortinet Firewall and/or Palo Alto.
• Familiar with NMS setup and configuration such as NetFlow, MRTG / PRTG and SolarWinds.
• Familiar with F5 Networks / A10 Load Balancers devices.
• Have experience with Security Remediation Audit and RFP / RFQ Tender requirements.
• A motivated person with the ability to work independently, a good team player and goal oriented individual.
