• Possess Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB and registered with IES as Resident Engineer

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of site contractors.
2. Monitor job progress and ensure that civil contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.
3. Ensure all structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules.
4. Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
5. Implement and oversee site projects assigned to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications.
7. Study project specifications such as civil/structural, architectural and M&E drawings.
8. To coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers to execute contract works.
9. Maintain safe and clean working environment and ensure compliances according to standard rules and regulations.
10. Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.
11. Prepare daily/weekly/month site report.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Site Engineer (Building) is responsible for assisting on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

The responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Coordinate between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior / management deem fit.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Prior 3 years experience in building projects

• Networking Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching; familiarity with network topologies.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML for developing and optimizing CDN services; experience in scripting for automation using languages like Python.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for effective communications with clients.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functinal teams, and the ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.

Work Environment:

This position requires shift work with the following schedules:

• AM Shift: 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM
• PM Shift: 3.15 PM to 11.30 PM
• Night Shift: 11.15 PM to 7.30 AM
