(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Well-versed with installation of M&E services and builder’s works.
• Experience in Design and Delivery Execution of Solar System Works and Load Sizing Of Solar Systems.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Independent & Team player.
• Proactive and able to take initiative.
• Good in negotiation.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.

(A) Job Summary:

Assists the Construction Manager in overseeing day-to-day site works.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Supervise & coordinate day-to-day site works, including sub-contract works, safety and quality control.
• Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing necessary
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering ary adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly progress reports for in-house, owner, and consultant submissions, highlighting key achievements and milestones.
• Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submissions
• Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control by authority requirements.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and ensure compliances according to standard rules and regulations
• Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by Construction Manager/ General Manager/ Project Director.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Minimum 6 years’ engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
• At least 3 years’ experience in main contractor on projects of similar scale, nature and complexity.
• Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.

Description:

• Engage with internal stakeholders to ascertain their procurement requirements and offer assistance and recommendations as necessary.
• Perform regular market assessments and issue requests for price proposals (RFQ) following the established internal purchasing procedures.
• Negotiate the amount, pricing, delivery timetable, and terms of delivery along with payment and contractual details.
• Ensure prompt execution of purchase orders to support production requirements.
• Facilitate the resolution of supply chain challenges that impact quality, cost, delivery, or lead time, which may involve collaborating with manufacturers or sub-tier suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and carry out assigned cost reduction initiatives.
• Compile and prepare all pertinent weekly and monthly reports.
