This position will work directly with healthcare professionals, advanced manufacturing providers, as well as engineering teams across the globe, to realize the design requirements for novel medical devices. The Manufacturing Systems Engineer will also manage manufacturing and prototyping projects and demonstrate additive manufacturing technologies, providing knowledge, design feasibility studies, production workflow, and product commercialization expertise.

Responsibilities

● Liaise with service providers and technology centers for advanced and additive manufacturing to transfer expertise and communicate design requirements.

● Manage internal production and maintenance schedules for manufacturing tools.

● Support the development of medical devices, implants, and instruments from concept to market launch. Responsibilities will cover all aspects of the design process, including research, prototyping, laboratory testing, iterating, design for manufacturing, and detailed design of final parts and assemblies.

● Work in a collaborative environment, interacting with cross-functional teams (Product & Project Management, Quality/Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing).

● Develop product requirements and product specifications based on user requirements.

● Fabricate and test components and assemblies as needed for product development.

● Source appropriate vendors to manufacture products and oversee their procedures and workmanship.

● Create manufacturing process instructions, raw material specifications, and qualification/validation protocols and reports.

● Creation of test protocols/reports, design review reports, risk management reports, and other supporting documents to comply with the design control processes

● Perform verification/validation testing as required.

● Support all technical aspects of the product and instruments.

● Support regulatory and quality requirements in compliance to ISO 13485:2016 and FDA regulations.

● In the event of potential non-compliance with applicable standards or regulations (e.g. FDA QSRs, ISO 13485:2016, or ISO14971), the employee has the responsibility to report any instances to their direct supervisor or above.

Qualifications

● 3+ years in additive manufacturing technologies

● Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred),, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and tolerance analyses.

● Proficient with additive manufacturing build preparation software such as Materialise Magics and 3DXpert

● Experience with analytical tools such as Finite-Element-Analysis is a plus.

● Must understand manufacturing processes including additive manufacturing.

● Experience with 3D printing technologies such as Laser Powder Bed Fusion, E-beam Powder Bed Fusion, Binder Jetting. from print to post-processing

● Experience with design thinking, rapid prototyping, and fabrication/assembly a plus

● Must demonstrate strong written and verbal skills with experience presenting technical information in a small group setting.

● Must work well in a small team and fast-paced environment.

The project is entering its final phase where is testing and transferring the DUCT to external stake holders.

Task/Job description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our interdisciplinary and international team based at the Singapore ETH-Centre.

Your key responsibilities are:

- Model and simulate the impact of district energy systems (with a special focus on cooling technologies) to urban warming in Singapore.

- Test the Energy system models to fine tune their performance in side the DUCT and de-bug when needed.

- Scenario testing. Carry a sensitivity analysis of the Energy model to understand its performance.

- Integrate these optimization algorithms into the Digital Urban Climate Twin platform.

Requirements

You should have:

Duties to be Performed:

Senior Mechanical Engineer for HVAC Systems shall be handling on designing and delivering mechanical systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries.

Job Description

As part of our system Engineering team, you play a key role in the design and development of our Inspection and Metrology machines. In your role you will work hands-on on the mechanical integration, process optimization and automation of the machine. Your work will involve integration of the mechatronic, optical and software building blocks and will hence work closely together with Mechanical design, Hardware, Optics and software teams.

It is your job to analyze customer requirements, build up a deep understanding of the problem and translate these into automated solutions that you detail clearly in measurable design requirements. To verify the solutions, you will build and test high-speed mechatronic setups for spec validation and critical parameter analysis. Once these are confirmed, you will coordinate the design and implementation in the different teams to eventually integrate tested modules and building blocks in the machine and assess the impact of the integration on the overall machine performance.

About the role
As a Systems Deployment Engineer, you will take a commercial product through installation, deployment, and proof of concepts. You will also drive innovative approaches to operating and supporting infrastructure to achieve results.

· At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline from a recognized institution.

· At least an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certification

· At least 3 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure support is required for this position.

The primary focus of the IT Systems Engineer role is to leverage extensive expertise in network administration and systems support to provide expert technical guidance and assistance in resolving complex IT issues. This role requires close collaboration with other IT team members to ensure IT systems effectively support the organization's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Network management

- Responsible for company IT infrastructure network management, including the design, implementation and maintenance of computers networks with network hardware such as routers, switches, access points, and network circuits.

- Utilise network technology such as HP Aruba, ClearPass, Cisco switching and routing, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall.

- Provide network administration support to ensure IT network operates optimally.

- Keep network diagrams and topology up to date.

- Maintain accurate company network documentation, such as IP Address management (IPAM), configuration changes and adhering to the network lifecycle management records.

• Network troubleshooting and monitoring

- Quickly identity and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues including investigating and resolving network outages or performance bottlenecks.

• Network Configuration and lifecycle management

- Configuring and deployment of network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) including tightening up security.

- To maintain and support office network and manufacturing plant production network.

- To patch and update the network devices to remediate the vulnerabilities and network flaws

• System and Network security support

- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures (Server, Network, backup).

- Participate in vulnerability assessments and carry out remediation work.

• Systems administration and server support

- Assist in providing systems administration support on server management, WINTEL and Hyperconverged infrastructure platform, Dell Vxrail, VMware, HyperV.

- Be responsible for system backup and recovery management.

- To patch and update Systems OS/ firmware/ software to remediate the vulnerabilities.

• Serve as a point of escalation for network/server issue and be ready to be providing guidance and assistance when they encounter challenging problems.
• Responsible for liaising with network solution integrator and 3rd party expertise on IT Infrastructure network continuous improvement topics.
• Review company IT infrastructure network lifecycle management processes, procedures, policies and access account to comply with internal/external audit.
• Assist providing training and support to users. This may include training on how to use new software or hardware, providing helpdesk support.

Your responsibilities include technical POC, low level design/workshop, project delivery, implementation, troubleshooting, testing, customer walk through, maintenance support and documentation. You are expected to work with our client’s IT department personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time on target, much to the satisfaction of both customers & company. Managing customer’s expectation is part of your job scope, which required of you to work closely with external & internal project team members. You are expected to be a fast leaner, to acquire technical implementation skill as and when needed due to business requirements. You need to have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill, so as to excel in supporting our customers. Your other responsibility will include technical pre-sales support to the sales team. You are expected to participate and contribute with a feasible SOW to ensure a timely and successful project implementation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering

· Minimum 5 years experiences implementation and administration with one or more of the following technologies:

o Citrix infrastructure

o Windows Server and its networking environment

o Microsoft Active Directory

o VMware infrastructure

o Server infrastructure

o Storage infrastructure

o VSAN/HCI

REQUIRED SKILL-SET

· System architecture including DR design experience is an advantage

· Strong knowledge in Data Centre operations, including managing Enterprise Data Centre.

· Experience on vSAN and HCI

· Able to work effectively in a team setting

· Decisive with the ability to multi-task

· Relevant technical certifications, such as Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft are preferred

· Overseas travelling may be needed and regional experience with neighbouring countries is a plus.
