Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors to manage daily construction activities.
• Coordinate with the client, QP(S), and QP(D) to resolve technical and design issues.
• Oversee subcontractors and specialists to ensure work is completed according to specifications and schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognised by BCA.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, preferably in tunnel projects.
• Familiarity with LTA station works and/or tunnel works.
• Knowledge of Singapore and international construction specifications and standards.
• Experience in preparing construction method statements and risk assessments.

Technical Responsibilities

• Delivers pipe stress (static and dynamic) and other miscellaneous calculations efficiently and effectively manages multiple tasks independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Utilises CAESAR II software as well as company proprietary Microsoft Excel spreadsheets as required. Conversant with relevant International Codes of Practice as well as engineering and industry standards
• Prepare pipe support loads and conceptual special pipe support design for detailed design
• Perform visual check and calculate piping load for non-critical lines.
• Provide guidance to piping designers or drafting team and verify that Piping requirements are reflected in the design. Ensure output is completed on time, on budget, and exceeding quality standards.
• Assists in preparation of datasheets for spring hangers, expansion bellows and other specialty piping items.
• Prepare pipe stress analysis report for submission and resolve client comments related to pipe stress from time to time
• Adheres to and complies with engineering procedures and standards and provides constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Identifies potential applications for new processes and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensures effective communication and interface between all disciplines for design and development
• Participates in internal audits and investigations as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering specialisation from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of piping engineering related working experience or similar activities pertaining to pipe stress analysis as described above.
• AutoCAD, Caesar II & Navisworks familiarity
• Knowledge on sizing spring hangers.
• Strong understanding of ASME and European Codes
• Excellent technical communication (oral and written) skills with proven ability to present technical issues to design teams and project engineering teams.
• Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyse problems, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects.
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels
• Preferably to have pipe stress experience on high temperature or steam piping

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer or similar role. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Position Description:

APAC Linux Build team is responsible for installing, deploying and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for various lines of businesses across APAC. The team plays a central role in collaborating with the project management teams, application owners and other infrastructure teams to provide Enterprise compute services.

A Linux build engineer role is responsible to build servers physical and virtual, provide LOB specific customizations including HA Clustering, provide OS level support for DC migrations and collaborate with project managers to implement solutions that meet business requirements. This role exposes candidate to hardcore technical and troubleshooting skills, working with vendors such as Redhat, Dell and HP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and configure servers as per design documents and complete post build tasks and QA checks.
• Work with project management team, application teams, and other infrastructure teams to deliver server builds and configurations
• Provide OS level support and assist in planning for DC migrations projects - VM Migrations, Physical servers Lift and Shift
• Troubleshooting and configuration of the technical environment. Escalating and liaising with additional internal/external groups when required, resulting in satisfactory resolution
• Create, review, maintain and update documentation

Key Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in RHEL Administration and Configuration
• Strong technical skills and experience in Unix environment: RHEL9 and RHEL8 build, configuration, troubleshooting
• Strong technical skills and experience on Red Hat pacemaker cluster build, configuration, troubleshooting
• Fair understanding on various infrastructure components: Cloud(VMware), Storage(NAS/SAN/EFS), Network(Baronet/DMZ)
• Fair understanding on hardware level: HP, Dell consoles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills to work with project stakeholders
• A good team player
• Scripting experience preferred: Shell scripting/python/Ansible, etc.
