You can make your mark as experienced contract manager, by being responsible for the overall contractual support to the project management on (complex) international marine infrastructure projects of Boskalis.

Your responsibilities as experienced contract manager

· Following project award, providing contractual and commercial support on a pro-active basis during the preparation and execution of complex projects.

· Developing and implementing a proper project administration, including the administration of variation orders and claims.

· Ensure the proper and timely submission of contract deliverables in relation to the main contract and subcontracts.

· Reviewing documents, such as but not limited to: joint venture or consortium agreements, main contracts, subcontracts and variation orders.

· Drafting and reviewing of (covering) letters, variation orders and claims addressed to or received from partners, client and subcontractors.

· Proactively contributing in all required contract and / or subcontract negotiations during the execution phase of a project.

· Liaising with the insurance - , procurement - and treasury department and the legal counsel involved.

· Increasing contractual awareness within the project team and supporting and developing expertise within the legal & contract management department.

· Guiding less experienced colleagues with regard to contract management.

Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as experienced contract manager, if you have:

· Master / bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, (civil) engineering, law or related field.

· At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in a similar role on Singapore marine or land infrastructure/ construction projects.

· Knowledge in PSSCOC is required and knowledge in international construction contracts such as FIDIC / LOGIC contracts is an advantage.

· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

· Accuracy and attention to detail and being a teamplayer.
