Job: Experienced Business Developer in HR/ Recruitment (Freelance)

Are you a seasoned professional with a proven track record in both recruitment and/or B2B business development? We're looking for an experienced Recruiter (Business Development Associate) to join our team and drive our growth by building and nurturing relationships with global/ international clients.

Commission is 50% (for each deal)

Duties:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement in compliance with legal and organizational policies.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, leaves, and attendance systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle statutory compliance and other regulatory requirements, including periodic filings and payments.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll-related transactions and generate required reports.
• Support HR operations by assisting in recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, and maintaining HR documentation.
• Coordinate employee benefits administration, such as insurance renewals, medical claims, and leave management.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in payroll management and HR operations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with HR management systems (EasyPay) is an advantage.

• Assist in administration and documentation required for STS (Ship to Ship) operations including but not limited to certificates, permits and reports.
• Facilitate coordination of documents / billings / communications between departments in office and with vessels

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth running of the Company’s computer systems and ensuring providing technical support to users both in office and on board vessels own/operated by the Company.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operation systems and applications;
• Monitoring and maintaining the office and ship computer systems, networks and hardware, including liaising with external IT vendors regarding the same
• Assisting shore and sea staff, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues
• Assist in preparing and administering the Company’s IT policy and procedures
• Assist with the Company’s cyber security defence, including configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, proxy, anti-virus software, access points etc.; and conduct disaster recovery operations
• Boarding of vessels to provide relevant IT support.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in related discipline.

• Manage the flow and organization of safety management documentation across the company.
• Conduct document quality checks per company’s procedures in an ISO-certified environment and identify compliance issues.
• Ensure timely completion of reports and correspondence by functional departments.
• Monitor HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) programs and prepare status reports and tender documents.
• Participate in incident investigations, ensuring reports with root cause analysis and lessons learned are uploaded to the company database.

Requirements:

• Minimum Specialist Diploma in HSE related discipline or other relevant Marine discipline.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in HSE particularly in Marine / Shipping / Ship repair industry.
• Self motivated team player, while being able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes, incident investigation techniques and risk management.
• Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

• Act as a liaison with flag state authorities, classification societies, and service providers for inspections, repairs, and compliance matters.

Requirements:

• Tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (at least COC Class 2 or 3), or at least 2 years of experience as technical superintendent for oil tankers and bunker tankers.
