The Crewing Manager is responsible for liaising and coordinating between the company and crew members. In this role, you will be expected to plan and source for crew members and freelancers required for projects undertaken by the organization. You will also be involved in the budgeting, costing, payment, and evaluation of the crew members and freelancers. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

General

• Oversee the system implementation (Mariapp) for automation of process.
• Oversee the booking of flights and accommodations for all engineers travelling for business projects company wide.
• Report on the use of freelancers. Compare average rate paid with in-house crew costs.
• Support and provide information on TOIL entitlement for in-House Crew on a monthly basis.

• Provide replacement crew if a crew member becomes unavailable due to sickness, flight cancellations, etc.

After Project

• Oversee all project closeout activities including evaluation of project performance, archival of projects, and preparation of close out reports.
• Prepare crew performance evaluation report based on information from Unit Manager and G. Engineers onsite for each project. Content to include attendance records, crew performance, etc.
• Calculate actual cost of internal and external, i.e., freelancer, crew deployed and any other miscellaneous costs, e.g., PD allowances, etc. associated with the project. Inform/highlight when actual cost exceeds project budget
• Receive invoices from freelancers, check the accuracy of billing and authorize the invoice for payment.

ART/PRINT FINISHING EXPERTISE & GENERAL WORKFLOW

• Provide technical and creative finishing advice working alongside our finishing agencies and external partners.
• Understand the core marketing creative intent with artwork assets and lead the team to execute world-class finishing on Artwork assets for APAC campaigns.
• Be a brand guardian and knowledge center for Marketing Art and OOH assets.
• Knowledge sharing and contributing to improving and scaling workflows and Global Production Design thinking, understanding regional nuances within the APAC team, and contributing to APAC & Global initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation workflow refinement.

VENDOR & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• A multi-tasker is able to oversee several different campaigns at different production stages that the team is working on.
• Define, communicate, implement, and monitor technical quality standards and creative integrity on all project deliverables according to Netflix's creative guidelines
• Lead with the sourcing, vetting, and onboarding of finishing vendors
• Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.

LOCALIZATION KNOWLEDGE

• Experience with transcreation and translation.
• Manage globalization team relationships, always looking into opportunity areas to have the work done more efficiently and scalable.

You will form the core team of technical specialists working at the client's waste management facilities including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) - a large-scale waste management infrastructural project, and Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP).

Job Scope:

· You may be part of the project team to assist the engineer and supervise IWMF construction progress.

1. To work with project consultants and key stakeholders, such as other government agencies, on the design of the various facilities in IWMF and ensure that IWMF is constructed, erected, installed in accordance with design specifications and complying with statutory requirement.
2. To participate in the testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical, instrument, control and automation equipment/systems.
3. To attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) at local and overseas factories to witness and verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

· You may be part of the technical team to assist the engineer in operation and maintenance of TSIP.

Your work scope includes:

a. To lead a unit of technical specialists and coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility.

b. To implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility's electrical and control equipment such as turbo-generators, motors, switchgears, low tension and high tension equipment, distributed control system and field instruments.

c. To administer contracts for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, EICA or building services equipment

d. To enforce permit-to-work system and safe work culture including supervising contractors’ work for quality and safety

e. To assist in the formulation and preparation of standard operating and safety procedures, equipment testing/changeover programme

f. To perform shift work in a waste-to-energy facility, if needed

g. To assist engineer to implement initiatives on safety and continuous improvement to enhance the safety culture and standards within the plant, as well as drive projects to achieve operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in any Engineering course or Nitec in any Engineering course preferably with 3 - 8 years of relevant working experience.

· Fresh diploma graduates can be considered.

· Preferably with professional certification e.g. Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, Workplace Safety Health Officer.

· Good technical background and strong analytical skills. Knowledge in solid waste management would be an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6.

· Independent, resourceful, and a good team player.

· Good interpersonal communication.

· Able to work in waste-to-energy facilities.

· Able to perform rotating shift work over public holidays and weekend if necessary.

Salary: $2000 to $7000 depending on relevant experience
