Position Overview:
The Station Manager/Branch Manager serves as the official representative of Regional Airline.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:
   • Manage and monitor the achievement of On-Time Performance (OTP) at the station.

We are looking for a Manager with in-depth expertise and extensive sales experience in the Material industry to lead the business development of our Materials Business Division.

This position is responsible for leading the overall business development of the Materials Division based on his/her in-depth practical knowledge of mireral sand, semiconductors, mined materials, and biomass fuels, and will be responsible for generating new sales and establishing a stable base of business transaction, including but not limited to the followings;

Procurement and sales of new materials (ceramic moldeded products and plastic film products)

Lead the sales of various new materials (ceramic molded products and plastic film products) mainly from Japanese suppliers to electronic component manufacturers in Malaysia and Singapore.

Conduct close daily communication and advanced negotiation with Japanese suppliers and HQ to coordinate delivery, inventory and negotiation of business conditions to ensure stable supply of high quality products on schedule.

Procurement and sales of mineral products

Expansion of biomass business

Logistics support for recycling of semiconductor components

Development of new investment projects

Lead the research and analysis of investment opportunities for the purpose of securing resource interests and developing new materials to further expand Iwatani group's materials business globally.

Budget and performance management

Job Requirements

1) Minimum of 5 years experience in a materials related trading company covering not only ASEAN but also China and Australia region. Successful candidates is expected to have experience in handling at least two of the following materials: rare-earth metals, mineral sand, ceramic molded products, resin raw materials, metals and chemicals.

2) At least 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics in the above material related business.

Successful candidate must have a high level of negotiation experience with suppliers in ASEAN and Japan.

The Strategic Operations Division is responsible for corporate planning, communications & engagement, financial governance, human resource and office management, and IT support. The Finance, Governance and Planning Department of the Strategic Operations Division of SIF is responsible for strategic planning, budget management and corporate governance. Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of accounts payable.
• Verify accounting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
• Maintain and update accounting system and records.
• Assist in preparing annual audit and accounting system upgrades.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers and other professional advisors.
• Act as a Finance Partner to handle various staff queries.
• Lead/Assist in streamlining processes in the Finance department.
• Support other ad-hoc Finance department matters as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Meticulous with an eye for details.
• Pro-active team player.
• High sense of integrity with good communication/interpersonal skills and a good command of English.
• Effective time management skills, independent and meticulous, with good ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of public sector financial policies and procedures would be an advantage.

Responsibilities (Work Scope):

• Develop and implement SCCC’s programmes and be accountable for delivering project deliverables that are in line with established SCCC strategic priorities and programming pillars. These responsibilities include managing and monitoring the progress of projects; planning timelines and milestones to meet deadlines; allocating and monitoring project budget and expenditure; coordinating vendors, partners and project teams; calling for tenders; procuring goods and services; delegating duties and logistical arrangements; and evaluating project deliverables.
• Work closely with SCCC Operations and Corporate Communications teams, partners and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of SCCC’s programmes.
• Oversee maintenance and technical support of projects by working closely with vendors and SCCC Operations Team to project manage the various productions.
• Liaise and work effectively with local artistes, arts and cultural groups, and vendors to organise SCCC programmes.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of information, documents, data collation of participation figures, feedback and survey results for assigned projects.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties, such as data collation and maintaining of databases, as assigned by Director (Programmes) and Assistant Director (Programmes), SCCC.

Requirements:

• A degree in Arts Management, Humanities, Chinese Studies or Communications.
• Minimum of at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, and/or programme and events management. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with strong proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translation of text into Mandarin;
• Has passion and strong interest in Chinese arts, culture and heritage;
• Experience in managing stakeholders would be preferred;
• Knowledge and experience in working with youths, young parents and/or seniors would be an advantage;
• Meticulous, good with details, resourceful, fast-learner, able to multi-task and handle all aspects of project/programmes management;
