As a Business Development Manager (BFSI), you will expand our innovation consulting and engineering in the areas of Software Excellence, Digital Experience, Digital Consulting and Data & AI to customers across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors.
You will be responsible for driving the business to new levels by managing existing customer accounts as well as researching, identifying, qualifying, developing and closing bespoke delivery, innovation and consulting projects at new customers. With an extensive portfolio of previous successful projects from top companies across APAC to support your activities, you will position Zuhlke as a premium partner for adding business value through the delivery of bespoke technology and the highest quality software solutions in an agile and lean way.
How you'll make impact
- Your hunter mentality will help acquire new customers with active listening skills and well-versed problem elicitation to identify where Zuhlke might help solve our prospective customer’s problems and challenges.
- Proactive engagement with customers and market experts enables you to identify trends and customer needs early, creating opportunities for your accounts.
- Further expand our market position through creative sales strategies, active market development and networking.
- You identify and realize sales potential for Zuhlke by understanding market needs and actively managing the continuous development of our customer portfolio.
- You take responsibility for the commercial aspect of our offers to clients, as well as initial contract negotiations together with bid teams.
- You actively engage with the other BDMs and/or Account teams in Asia as well as Europe to embody sales excellence in all aspects of our client engagements.
- You will be responsible for arranging customer and industry events and campaigns to support your sales pipeline building activities.
- You'll expand your network and influence by partnering with external parties, and collaborate with Practice Leaders to develop offerings and define account management with the wider team.
What's important to us
- You have over 10 years in sales or business development, you excel in consultative sales practices. You connect with new customers, uncover their needs, and present your company's unique solutions. You also have a network of C-level and senior contacts at potential customer organizations.
- Ideally, you will have a recognised qualification in computing, software or electronics and will be driven to provide your customer’s the best solution that meets their needs, not necessarily what your company is selling.
- You thrive on staying ahead in business and technology trends, seeking out challenging technical problems, and bringing new projects to your team. You enjoy collaborating with Solution Centre Directors to find the right solutions for customers, ensuring realistic expectations and building strong, lasting relationships.
- You feel comfortable engaging with all levels in the customer’s organization, from the executive CxO level, right down to the technical engineers and project leads. You have extensive experience managing major accounts.
- You are able to demonstrate your sales experience in the technology (services/software) industry
- You have an active network of executive-level contacts within the Singapore FSI community, leveraging your deep domain expertise in Retail Banking, Insurance, and Wealth Management.
- You want to work for a growing technology company that only hires the most capable people, that puts the customer’s needs before its own, and has an incredible portfolio of past projects and top-tier, passionate customers to draw upon as references.
- You have proven professional experience selling complex services and software development projects within the consulting environment, along with a significant track record of influencing C-suite decision-makers.
- You have several years of experience in a comparable role with responsibilities in account management, market development and sales of complex services
- You have strong business acumen combined with entrepreneurial spirit, and at least 2 years of experience working in Asia.
- You likely possess a bachelors, preferably in the business or technology field. Having a masters degree is a plus.
- Influences with an international mindset, and cross-cultural management competencies
- You have a formal sales training methodologies like SPIN and Miller Heiman, ideally complemented by practical application experience and an understanding of Agile Methodology
