The Role

This position will be responsible for reviewing and management reporting for the assigned portfolio of companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Review of accounts prepared by the offshore finance team for the portfolio of assets, ensure compliance with Singapore FRS is done correctly and ensure mapping to accounts done correctly.
• Management reporting / MIS preparation for the assigned portfolio fo companies on a monthly basis
• Assist with bi-annual forecast and annual budgetingHandle client payroll administration including application, managing CPF submission, Form IR8A
• Experience doing Xero migration
• XBRL
• Preparing Tax submission - Corporate Tax, GST, Withholding taxes etc
• Preparing annual report per local statutory requirements
• Assisting in Client Audit
• Any other ad-hoc reporting

Job Requirements

• Singaporeans/PRs only to apply
• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant post-qualification experiences.
• Familiar with tax law in Singapore – GST, WHT, Corporate tax
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required as the role requires liaising with various parties such as inter-department, external suppliers, property manager and operators.
• Hands-on with good eyes for details, responsible, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Revise, enhance, implement, and sustain the inter-company transfer pricing policies, protocols, and framework for the group.
• Aggregate and compile data and information to facilitate the creation of transfer pricing documentation reports.
• Collaborate with external parties to oversee and formulate transfer pricing documentation for bolstering inter-company transactions in alignment with local regulations within the region.
• Evaluate and establish arm's length prices as per the findings of transfer pricing documentation reports.
• Conduct routine internal assessments of transfer pricing policies to align with the most recent developments in tax regulations and oversee transfer pricing audits if deemed necessary.
• Analyze and devise business strategies pertaining to taxation.
• Provide support for the tax components of Group direct and indirect taxes, ensuring adherence to local country tax mandates.
• Serve as an internal business consultant for all tax-related matters within the region, encompassing both direct and indirect taxes for the Group.
• Participate in projects as assigned.
• Assist the Group Tax Manager with occasional group tax matters, serving as a key point of contact to facilitate all tax compliance and advisory issues.

• Assist to review and monitor the timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns by tax agents throughout the Group

Requirements:

• Coordinating and supporting audit and tax matters
• Work closely with Group Finance team for accounting, control, reporting and compliance matters
• Handle consolidation and reporting to support group consolidation
• Partnering with regional internal stakeholders, providing technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues
• Key driver for implementation of group policies, processes, operations and systems. Involve in finance transformation projects and recommend any new or improvements to finance department process
• Execute and implement SOX controls relating to group process and account(s).
• Support any ad-hoc projects and tasks from time-to-time as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handling full set of accounts for multiple entities
• Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year end closing
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules
• Prepare monthly/quarterly GST/VAT/WHT reporting, reconciliation report and tax computation
• Prepare Annual Statutory Financial Statements and XBRL for the assigned portfolio of entities
• Attend to external auditors’ requests and queries during annual audit
• Assist Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller on any ad-hoc assignments
• Assist Group Tax Manager on any tax queries

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a shipping industry
• Knowledge of SAP & BPC would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Auditors from Big4 accounting firm are welcome to apply
