Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Expert to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Expert will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate recording of payments, and effective communication with clients to facilitate timely payments. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

· Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.

· Reconcile discrepancies in accounts receivable balances.

· Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

· Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in-person to facilitate payment resolution.

· Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records of accounts receivable transactions.

· Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting as needed.

· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.

· Manage non-customer-based receipts

· Accurately enter receipts into the financial system

· GST Reconsolidation

· Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Secondary Duties:

You will also be responsible for handling and preparing various reports essential to our financial operations and work closely with Operation Manager to generate Weekly and Monthly reports.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Min 3 years of relevant experience in similar field.

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Possess initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description

Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage clients' portfolio of accounts
• Answer queries and advise clients effectively and promptly
• Bookkeeping for clients’ monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts, preparing of full set accounts, financial statements, including consolidation
• Prepare and filing of GST
• Calculation of corporate tax and filing of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI), Form C, Form C-S
• Prepare reporting documents i.e. financial statements in XBRL format to the relevant authority (ACRA) as required, MAS Annual Declaration
• Liaising with IRAS officers on outstanding and disputed issues
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
• Any other management and corporate services

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA equivalent
• At least 4-5 Years of working experience in the related field (full set of accounts/audit) is required for this position.
• Required Skills: Microsoft Office, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero
• Familiarity with investment-related accounts and MAS incentive schemes will be a bonus
• Able to work under pressure / tight deadlines
• Able to handle clients' queries in a timely and professional manner
• Able to work independently but with strong team ethics

• Prepare yearly returns - IR8A & company corporate tax
• Liaise with auditors, company secretary & various statutory boards

• HR duties such as recruitment, updating staffs' personal files, monitoring staff's annual & medical leave & claims etc.

Requirements:

• Over 5-10 year of hands-on payroll processing
• Understand Accounting software Xero
• Conversant with Singapore Employment Act, payroll regulations and best practices.

• Good interpersonal skills and attitude with positive mindset.
• Communication skills that allow you to listen to the opinions of various people
