Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts - handle daily operational AP/ AR tasks including invoicing, payment, receipts, staff claims, and others
• Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts for management reporting and statutory compliance
• Perform monthly reconciliation, Balance Sheet Schedules and reports
• Prepare quarterly GST reports
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with the external auditor and tax agent
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries into accounting system
• Maintain good documentation and filing system
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned as and when required

Requirements

• Diploma in accounting or equivalent.
• CPA / ACCA or pursuing will be an advantage
• Min 5 years of relevant experience with hands-on experience with full-sets finance activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment and is comfortable with matrix reporting
• High computer literacy, technically agile with numbers and is able to work independently
• Resilient, highly adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment / high growth start-up

Work Hours : 8.30am - 5.30pm (Mon-Fri) 830am - 12.30pm (Sat)

• MNC, 5 days, Jurong East (near MRT)
• Basic salary: $5500 - $6000
• 6 months contract
• Hands-on experience in IFS (Industrial and Financial System)

Job responsibilities:

• Ensuring year end balances are rolled over correctly into new IFS system
• Handling the Accounts payable flow, which includes resolving issues, uploading invoices, coding,generating posting proposals,running payments, and managing daily bank files and tax codes.
• Managing journal entries for transactions not covered in the IFS modules (e.g.payroll, external file uploads, prepayment amortization) .
• Working with the fixed asset module to handle asset acqusition, importing fixed asset objects, running depreciation and ensuring depreciation is accurate.
• Performing reconciliations such as GRNI (Goods received not invoiced), mixed payment postings and bank reconciliations.
• Generating and creating reports required for period closing, including GST/VAT reports,trial balance, GL listings and AP/AR reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma/Degree in Finance & Accounting
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to commit to a 6-month contract
• **Must have hands-on experience in IFS (Industrial and Financial System)
• Responsible, meticulous and independent

• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a must.
• Proficient in Accounting software ABSS is a plus.
• Experience in working with dual currencies bookkeeping is another plus.
