Job Responsibilities

• Overview: Responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

General Ledger Function

• Responsible for IFRS 16 lease accounting entries
• Preparation of inventory aging report and provision for stock obsolescence
• Posting of Group treasury interest income and expense
• Posting of monthly manual journal entries
• Responsible for month-end closing tasks such as FX revaluation, opening/closing of accounting periods

• Responsible for the preparation of quarterly statement of accounts, reserves, and various calculations (commissions, portfolios, cash calls, etc.)

The opportunity

This team specializes in the area of ASC 740, IAS 12, provision process and internal controls over the tax provision. As an Associate Partner, you will serve companies that need assistance with tax accounting for transactions or their on-going tax provision process. As you progress, you'll become a trusted business advisor to your clients while helping organizations grow.

Your key responsibilities

As an Associate Partner, you'll lead pursuits and engagements to provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, financial statement disclosures and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts). You'll also assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision.
